Nope, don't use either of those over here. But a tablespoon is approx 1 oz/25 grammes, so I'm presuming he means about 8oz of marg? If so, that's a heck of a lot to fry with.

The amount of margarine needed is dependent on how much spaghetti is left, or you intend to prepare. I'd start with 2 ounces (4 TBLS or 1/2 a stick), for a meal for 2-3 people, and go up from there. If, however, you don't like the idea of 'greasy, fried' spaghetti, then start with 1 ounce and work your way up.

In our house, we have a lot left over and we then fry up a lot for our next meal, so one stick of margarine is usually needed.

Crunchy leftover spaghetti?

Crunchy means you burnt it. ;)

You're only supposed to heat it up until all the moisture is cooked out of the noodles and when they finally get caramelized, like fried rice. It should only take about 10-12 minutes for that to happen.

Soon enough I'll be eating from one of the best pizza places ever, Australia's Pizza House, they get +respect for the arcade games.

I also have a potato in my pocket for comic effect, but I wont be eating that.

I'm about to find out if chardonnay and buttery popcorn go well together.

I prefer a wedge of aged cheddar cheese and a pint of milk with my buttered popcorn.

2 hours ago we had Del Taco burritos and tacos. Meh. Taco Bell is a lot better.

strange muffin thing?

are you talking about the garlic bread?!

cause i can make much nicer garlic bread than what we ate today. Remember when i stank like a skunk and i went in your room? that's what garlic bread is meant to do.

Leftover smoked goose. I guess I smoked it too long for the other's taste, but I thought it was excellent.

Have any good hummus recipes? I usually just buy the store bought stuff, but wanted to try something new. I need one for regular hummus and one 'special' flavored hummus, if you have one, like 'red peppers and rosemary' or 'pinenuts and basil' etc.

had a bbq last night in melbourne with beef burgers, kangaroo sausages, steaks, pasta with pesto in it, some chicken skewer things with a chinese-y sauce on them

sounds good huh? well it was :P

Try Balsamic Roasted Vegetables for the Hummus special variety.
