Doesn`t look ready to eat... :P

Cucumbers can be eaten raw, the slice of ham is pre-cooked, and anyone who's watched Rocky knows that raw eggs are . . . delicious?

I did cook it up (the ham and eggs, anyway) since I wasn't really training for a prizefight.

Actually the ham looked so good while it was grilling that I had to take pics of it to add to my zillion useless photos.

Brunch just now was a corned beef on toasted rye with mustard and some Wheat Thins Spicy Buffalo crackers.

You can buy it in the bigger Tescos now, in the World Foods section, it costs £1.50 a bottle. It's not too bad once you get past the first taste; it's a bit like a very sweet, syrupy dandelion and burdock. It's not quite as harsh as d&b, of which I'm not a fan.

The other half described as drinking TCP, but it's not that bad. You've just got to get used to the taste, although I think it is too sweet for UK tastes. Now I've finished it off, I actually enjoyed it, but it's not something I'd buy regularly.

I prefer eating cucumbers raw. In fact I don't think I've ever eaten cooked cucumber. I've always eaten them fresh out of my garden and put some salt on the slices.

I bought myself 2 Cornettos and a box of cookies for a snack but after my little sister saw it became one Cornetto and half a box of cookies.

Sharing with your sister. How sweet! ;)

Had a snack just now of a handful of almonds and a handful of more Spicy Buffalo Wheat Thins.

Meatballs, a sausage, some mash potato and some baked beans.

The mash had French mustard in which was really nice.

Too hot to cook. So, we had onion bagels with onion and chive cream cheese and tuna fish salad. Homemade Dutch pudding for dessert.

The sun was out so we had a BBQ today - homemade burgers, ribs in sauce, stuffed peppers and fresh scad. Sorted. :D

Calibre: Large what calibre did they lay? .50?

Some hot chocolate with 70% dark chocolate shavings on top.

Calibre = French for 'Size'. Calibre Gros = Size large.

But, not yoke, these eggsamples would put a 50 cal cracker to shame. Poor hens that farted them out must have felt some fire. Seriously, though, the eggs are a lot more tasty than the regular fowl stuff that comes from trapped chicks.
Vibrations, vibrations . . . everywhere.

Right now just finished 2 whole Florida oranges - already feel the sunshine in me. :sly:

BTW - I'm going to report you for diecast abuse. Canooooooooo!!!

I figured Cailbre was size in french.

Seeing as it had the english word next to it and many other words in english come from french language.

Had to cook tonight. It's was still to hot in the house to do it, but did it anyway. Enough cold food. So, it was a burger patty with four cheese whipped potatoes and the leftover chili from a few days ago. Too hot for that kind of food on a day like this, but it was a nice change of pace from the other day.

You would lose your mind over here - there's so much English (?) and French (?) plastered over everything we read. For instance we can look at a box of . . . um 'baked goods', and it would have 'Biscuits' on one side and 'Cookies' on the other.
Which side do you think we take as 'French' and which side 'English'?

Intake for the day - several cups of tea, maybe a big brunch later, as I hit town.

I attempted some fish for dinner. I turned out fine. Very pleased. Not idea what fish it wash though.

Dinner Tonight: Mesquite Smoked Tri Tip, Oven Roasted Cubed Potatoes and Mesquite Smoked White Corn! Baron Dark Chocolate for dessert.

Tri Tip just on the smoker.

Uh oh, fallen back into old habits, eh? ;)

Did you buy the fish live? I used to go to a Chinese market in the UK and you just chose the fish you wanted from a huge tank. You could get sea bass at the fraction of the the high street price that way. I did enjoy watching the old Chinese guy gut, trim and clean it in seconds like somekind of fishmonger ninja. :D
