I cannot stand Mentos! They're WAY TOO ADDICTING!!! It's hard to control yourself with those damn things in your pocket!

(I had those very same Mentos about 7-8 months ago and ate the entire roll!)

They're supposed to be for the kids, but when you have them in your pocket, you're like, "Screw the damn kids!" "Let them get their own candy!"

Once again, for your consideration for "GTPlanet Father of the Year Award," I thank you. ;)

I had two rolls.

Also, I just had a late night snack.

Now I'm working on the first half of these. Yes, each package in the box is approximately one serving to me...

Would you believe I weigh 140 pounds?

When I was your age (20), I would eat 6 Big Macs, large fries and two shakes. If I did that now, I'd die before it left my body.

I use to eat them in a real disgusting manner, too. I'd take apart one Big Mac and strip off the patty, cheese, sauce, onions, etc. EVERYTHING but the bun and apply it to another Big Mac to make a Quad Big Mac or "Major Big Mac for a Major Heart Attack" as I called it. Then, I'd put French fries and ketchup/catsup on the dry bun and eat that as a 'French fry Big Mac.' Disgusting, but true.

Lousy Girl Scouts, and their highly-addictive Thin Mints! Good thing they don't come around here!

Would you believe I weigh 140 pounds?

Nope.

TB
Aww. I bet you say that to all the girls. :embarrassed:

Only when I first come into port. ;)

For now. Thirty is creeping up faster than you think.

Stupid metabolism.

That's it; destroy his fun! Muh-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-haaaaawwww!

Made a trip to Albertsons' and they had Stouffer's Mac & Cheese on sale, and since it's so DAMN COLD today, the boys and I had that with ham and cheese sandwiches.

But, just after I started making this for dinner tonight...

Boston Baked Beans

1 lbs. Bacon (sliced pieces)
1 Onion
2 Jalapeño Chilies (diced)
1 lbs. Great Northern White Beans (dry)
1/4 Cup Tomato Paste
1/4 Cup Dark Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Molasses
4 Cups Bean Water with Vegetable Stock
1/4 tsp. Cayenne Pepper
1 tsp. Fresh Cracked Pepper
2 tsp. Salt

Wash (rinse) Northern beans and lay them flat on metal racks checking for rocks, dirt or bad (discolored, cracked or shriveled) beans. Soak beans overnight (8 hours) in plenty of water just before cooking. (Note: Beans will double in size, so soak with lots of water in a large enough container) Save bean water adding vegetable stock until you make 4 cups. Save this liquid for later.

In a Dutch oven with a tight-fitting lid, heat on the stove top the diced bacon until fat is completely rendered out. Add diced onion and jalapeño chilies and cook until soft. Add tomato paste, dark brown sugar and molasses and stir to combine. Slowly add heated bean water + vegetable broth (4 cups) liquid while stirring constantly. Add cayenne pepper, black pepper and salt and stir until well combined. Heat until it starts to boil. Place tight-fitting lid and add to 250 degree oven for 6-8 hours.

Smoked chicken leftover from a few days ago made for some great chicken Alfredo with broccoli today.

Yesterday was great with leftover potatoes and corned beef which made the most awesome potato pancakes with egg, cheddar cheese and onion.

Tomorrow is leftover chicken and broccoli Alfredo.

Leftovers are running my world.

I just had a order of 5 layer nachos for 79 pennies. then i topped it off with 99 more pennys which = a cheesy bean and rice burrito........

Toxic hell oh how i adore thee

On Monday, I had a HUGE Dinner: Frozen Buffalo Wings, Mac & Cheese, and Frozen Breakfast Hash Browns.

On Tuesday I had Pancakes.

On Wednesday I Had Mac & Cheese for Lunch and 6 (!) Hot Italian Sausages on Wheat Bread with Mustard and Mild Shredded Cheddar Cheese.

On Thursday I had Pancakes. Again.

Tomorrow? Probably Pancakes. AGAIN.

As for the weekend? well, either Sliders or Fried Chicken for Lunch and Chicken & Rice with Ranch Dressing, Sour Cream, and Hot Sauce for Dinner on Saturday.

Then, I'm more than Likely going to go out to eat for My Uncle Nick's Birthday on Sunday (His Birthday was on St. Patrick's Day. Luck O' The Irish, Indeed!)

So, yep, looks Like a Pretty 'Full' week!:P

I got some caponata in a jar from costco. To my surprise, it is AWESOME.

It's a new record for Dominos pizza - from ordering to eating in just 17 minutes... pretty darn fast :D

That's happened to us a few times with Round Table. They always tell us, "It'll be 45 minutes."

I'm currently eating nothing. I can't. I've got a bad, painful infection in my mouth right now. I've been rinsing my mouth out with Myers's and sucking down Aleve and aspirins like there's no tomorrow.

:ill: That doesn't sound good, hope it clears up soon...

I used to live right around the corner from a Dominos and collect the pizza myself, and I'm not sure that I've ever had a pizza this quickly even then... considering that they delivered from a shop that is a good 25 minute walk away/5 min drive away, 17 mins from order to door is amazing :D

And as a bonus, it was virtually "free" since I correctly predicted that Holland would beat Scotland 3-0 last night, which won me the cost of the pizza :dopey:

What's better than food made, food purchased, food earned? Food awarded! Nice job. 👍

I'm sitting in the hotel room eating leftovers from yesterday's supper.

goddamit Keef...being 278 lbs really sucks... damn you skinny people...

anyways, i'm eating 2 apples(with peanut butter and honey mixed together... teh awesomeness...) and some KRAFT macaroni and cheese. here's a tip for that(it's not healthy, but it makes it tastier.) use less milk, but more butter. it makes it less soupy and more saucy. also, make sure the pasta itself is cooked al dente, so that it tastes awesome.

I think I see why you're 278 lbs... If 278 lbs sucks so much, do something about it.

And my computer is awesome because I use Vista.

Well, I can go back to eating 'normal' food now that my tooth infection is finally over. I've been suffering for the last five days and couldn't eat very much and sometimes not at all.

I've had the following for the past five days:

4 Peanut Butter Sandwiches
3 Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
2 Vanilla Shakes
2 Cans of soup
A few handfuls of Cheez Its in my soup

So, as the pain was considerably lower this morning, I had the three grilled cheese sandwiches not knowing if I would be able to eat again later today. As it turns out, after a nap, the pain dropped considerably again. And thus, I went nuts and made the following for dinner.

1/2 Lbs. Sirloin beef patties seasoned with salt, pepper and onion topped with American cheese
Chili Beans
Whipped Potatoes
Bacon (Thanks to watching Jim Gaffigan's King Baby over the weekend)

The pain was almost completely gone by dinner time, and I made a total pig of myself. I definitely made up for the past five days today, and tomorrow I'm going to 'take it easy.' Don't want to push my liver to the limits after not eating much the last few days.
