4 Kellogg's nutri-grain biscuits and a mug of coffee. Need the caffeine as I was awake all night with my very poorly partner being sick.

Made some Rosemary Agave Mint Juleps today for Derby day :-)

Late dinner was a ham and swiss cheese sandwich and a handful of hot 'n spicy pork rinds. Total calories for the day, about 1,700.

Same turkey burger as before with the addition of adding garlic to the onions whilst cooking them.

Kids have been driving me crazy today so I'm contemplating a martini. Is that wrong?

Never had a turkey Burger. How do you make that? Kind of a cooking newb at the moment so I'm sorta interested.

As far as cooking? You can put them on the grill just like a regular beef burger but I've been cooking them in a pan on the stove. Medium heat and keep flipping until there's a nice char. Top like I did or as desired. Enjoy. 👍
Not enough alcohols.

Dinner was barbequed ribs and a salad. Now drinking a Widmer bourbon barrel aged stout. I was going to open an IPA, but it wasn't warm enough for one.

Its ground turkey. Treat it as you would lean ground beef. Because of taste differences you may want to mix in some seasonings, but do know that nothing you do to it will make it taste better than beef. Ever.

Well, there is an exception to every rule.

That is sooo wrong; you should have at least two martinis. :D

Cinco de Mayo and Liberation Day celebrations going on in Solid Lifter's household. Brunch was tortilla chips and salsa. Dinner tonight is a boerenkaas (a mild Dutch gouda cheese) sandwich. Little taste of Mexico and Holland. 👍

Dinner yesterday...

Sweet & Sour Chicken over Jasmine Rice

Leftover shrimp plus leftover rice plus leftover beans plus just starting to wilt lettuce on a tortilla makes a pretty decent burrito. Real test - the kids asked for seconds. :D

Bonus - cleaning out the fridge.

A few days ago I woke at around 7.00 in the morning, and six hours and several cups of tea later realised I hadn't had anything to eat at all, so broke my fast with this:

Raspberries and multi-grain 'O's from the States, and milk (hopefully) from Ontario.

Couple of days later, I woke up with the thought that I should be a good boy and have my breakfast right away - except I added two tablespoons of Grade A Bees Honey from Saudi Arabia:

Those Saudi bees know their beesn bizz business. I ended up having a buzz. Legally drunk on breakfast.

"Was just breakfast, officer, I swear . . . "
