Here to report back; they sort of taste like Dunkaroos. The sweetness isn't super-strong, which means the potato flavour is pretty apparent. Lays has always been stingy with their seasoning though, so I suppose that's not surprising.

That said, not the worst chips I've eaten.

I ate the dill pickle ones and I have to agree the flavor is weak, it just tasted like a slightly stronger salt and vinegar

Finally found a great way to enjoy spinach. I like spinach a lot but the leaves from the store die within about 3 days which is a real pain. SO.. I have started freezing it. I buy the big bags, freeze them in individual sandwich bags, then simply throw in the microwave for about 2 minutes and yummy!!! Might have to experiment with cooking first then freezing because a sandwich bag of spinach cooks down fairly small.

Its rare I eat out but I decided to get a whopper and try the new chicken fries. The whopper was great, the chicken fries were terrible!

Made my own personal touch to mac and cheese with hot dogs. I use angel hair spaghetti noodles and 2 jars of cheddar cheese with hot dogs. Honestly THE best mac and cheese I have ever had. So delicious. Sorry no pics but serious try it sometime. Substitute your regular noodles with angel hair spaghetti noodles. :drool: Also it only takes about 6 or 7 minutes to cook the noodles and you are done.

I hope it's cheese spread. At least it has a real cheese base. It's basically queso with just cheese.

Tonight was stuffed peppers.

Bought and froze some more spinach. Using larger sandwich bags this time and I can get about 5 sandwich bags from this one bag. I froze 4 and kept the rest in the bag for roast beef sandwiches this weekend. I will be doing this from now on. So easy and keeps the spinach fresh. Just pull bag out of freezer and microwave for about 2 minutes. :)

Looks so yummy. Havent had stuffed bell peppers in a couple years. *adds to grocery list*

Went out for a few beers and have been invited to an Italian restaurant for that particular food (which I don't eat) and will continue with some more beer once my company arrive and I have a table.

Might try a pizza here, beer for sure (drinking one now) but maybe pizza too.

Miracle; I had fries again, yesterday(home made). Third or fourth time this year. :scared:

Today lunch was:

* Rice

* Turkey filet

* Coconut sauce.

Tried these for lunch today:

I guess someone forgot to fill mine. Almost no cheese and very little "angus" beef. What was in there tasted pretty nasty.

A couple hot sauce packets that I had in my desk made them edible though. Luckily they were only $2.

Man, I remember when I got put on blood thinners and they told me I couldn't eat spinach anymore. I think I has a beer to celebrate.

You enjoy. Add some asparagus and you'll be making old last farts in no time.

I hope that doesn't mean you are buying premade and or frozen stuffed peppers. It's bad enough watching you guys show off your frozen pizzas. It's just wrong.

@FoolKiller

No I wont buy "pre-made" stuffed peppers. I will buy the fresh bell peppers, cut them up and put in the hamburger / sausage. Then cook them in the oven. I will get pics but it probably wont be until next week. It is however on my list thanks to your post. :)

I'm not going to be eating anything for a while now - I just did the grottiest, most disgusting household chore imaginable, and it's killed my appetite.

I'm always making lunch. The other day, my father aswered a question when a woman asked if I'm a good cook. He was very clear about that. His answer wasn't leaving any doubts.

He said:

No! :guilty: :(

I degreased the oven.
That's the most disgusting household chore imaginable? I've done it in restaurants.

I am curious how your home oven got so greasy. Not a lot of grease in mine. I also have a self-cleaning oven though....so. But even when I didn't there wasn't a lot of grease.

I'm curious, too. But it's an older oven, and I recently moved, so I suspect that the previous tenants were somewhat lax when it came to cleaning it.

My oven hasn't been cleaned in 20 years lol. It's seasoned. Lots of nice charred bits on the bottom, and some sweet-potato-plasma carbon mounds. Food doesn't taste as good in a new, spotless oven.
