About to have steak, lettuce, mushrooms & pepper sauce.

My brain found that good enough to get the saliva engine in motion.
Be still, brain!

For now bananas, lemon yogurt, and tea. Boring, healthy stuff.
Good enough to keep me alive so I can starve.

I didn't have any pepper sauce so I'm saving it for tomorrow.

Venison steaks and corn fritters for dinner.

I'm having acid reflux. Ate too much Chicken/curry on my, mmmm, sandwich/bread. You see, I still don't get it, that sandwich/bread thing. :ouch: :embarrassed:

Bread is an ingredient for a sandwich. The type of bread is important to the overall taste.

A sandwich is the total sum of any food stuffs placed between two pieces of bread.

Saying you ate a sandwich is like saying you ate soup. It says what you ate, but tells us nothing about what it was made from. Saying you ate a ham and cheese on rye sandwich is like saying you ate vegetable soup. That gives us details on what was in what you ate.

So I had chicken/curry on spelt? Spelt being the ingredient to make this sandwich. Pffff.

This what wel call "eating bread".

Is there something that would be not eating bread?

All of those look like they would be good for sandwich use. Best I can tell, those would be good for slicing for something like a sandwich or toast, as opposed to something as a side dish, like a roll or breadstick.

Just ordered a pizza and now waiting for it to come.

Pizza received. Now eating it, over.

My wife and I went to Granite City for supper. I had a Tito's Chocolate Nut martini and a "Big Show" burger*. My stomach is paying for it now. I'm not used to eating like that anymore, which is good, but damn. :irked:

I'm paying for not eating anything last night - upset stomach and a sore head :(

Since I am not feeling well, I've decided to stay at home this weekend and, as a result, will have another bash at using my slow cooker... tonight's dinner is going to be 'Bourbon chilli slow-cooked beef'... I'm using a Scotch Bonnet chilli (probably incredibly stupid on an upset stomach, but hey) and a shot of Buffalo Trace bourbon. I've just bunged it all in the slow cooker and it should ready in about 4 hours. I'll see if I am feeling like eating later, however - it might taste better left overnight and then reheated tomorrow.

Last night was venison vegetable stew, using the steak leftovers.

I made pancakes for brunch. It would be breakfast, but my daughter has dance class in the morning.

It was a new, low sodium recipe. It's hard to make pancakes fluffy, tasty, and low sodium, but these worked. No pictures because these seem to cook faster and werent pretty because I haven't gotten the temperature right for them.

Had leftover sausage lasagna for lunch today, and for dessert, salted caramel ice cream, which I know I will be paying for later with my lactose intolerance.

How many pounds of meat?

Words can not describe how happy I am that they brought these back.

They are just as good as I remember as well.:D

Now I just need to find a place that stocks (also recently re-launched) Crispy M&M's and my nostalgia trip will be in full swing.

Midnight snack:

What next? Pizza in a can? :boggled:
