Thanksgiving rerun last night.

Turkey, mashed potatoes, creamed onions, squash, stuffing, WC slider stuffing, gravy. Apple pie moonshine for dessert.

Still have enough for another dinner, probably Monday or Tuesday.

For dessert, mango mousse with pomegranate seeds.

@FoolKiller, my mother in Louisville makes that all of the time. I wonder if this is a regional thing. Here was my first attempt a while ago.

Your broth looks so much richer (and better). I don't remember what I used as a base for this soup, but I spoke to my mother and she says she uses V-8 juice or tomato juice.

If you would be so kind as to share your recipe, it would be greatly appreciated. The beans seem like a great addition by the way.
1lb ground chicken browned and drained
Two cans NSA (no salt added) Veg All -drained
Two cans NSA diced tomatoes
One can NSA cut green beans - drained
One can NSA yellow sweet corn - drained
One can NSA black beans - drained/rinsed
4 cups soup base (below).
Two sprigs fresh Rosemary
Bunch of fresh thyme
Two bay leaves
Salt and pepper to taste.

Soup base: homemade chicken broth used to cook green beans previously. Save excess broth from green beans and strain

Add water to thin or tomato paste to thicken the soup as you desire.

I'm not fighting with you Brits this week.

Today's Friday lunch was fried shrimp and chips, with many canned 0.6245 pints of light pale lager.

Fish for me, steak for the missus, and two Lime Jarritos. Yes, that's a lime wedge sitting in hot sauce, Marie Sharp's Beware to be exact. I think we've been at least once a month since discovering the place in the summer.

There was a surprise birthday party for the new girl at work being thrown by her old co-workers. My wife and I went to the bar it was supposed to be held at and I didn't see her there.

So we went next door to a different bar where I had an Angry Orchard, A Colorado Bulldog and half a plate of nachos.

Impromptu date night!

Tonight we had fondue with Santa. We had an appetizer of a cheddar-Swiss fondue with French bread, fresh veggies, and apple dippers. For my entree we had a vegetable broth cooking liquid and I had chicken, sirloin, shrimp, and lobster tail with broccoli, mushrooms, and potatoes. For dessert we had cake, marshmallows, Rice Krispie treats, and brown bites in milk chocolate.

No pictures of my our food, but here are some of us with Santa.

Home made Japanese curry (the sauce was a pack though) with squid, prawns, mussels, crab, onions and sticky rice.

Wonderful.

And before you say it. Yes I know there is a lot there.
