I haven't eaten a cheeseburger for over a year because of Corona.

It is probably very stupid but I'm afraid to get infected when someone else is preparing my cheeseburger.

EDIT: this is the way Belgian eat French Fries at home.

Date is wrong. It must be 30/05/2021.

I'm hungry and I don't know what to eat.

Beer in one hand

Footlong Italian in one hand.
So close to my current situation...

Was craving some Khao Mun Gai (sliced boiled chicken, rice steamed in broth, broth soup, sliced cucumbers, and a side of thick mildly spicy ginger soy sauce), but since I can't be in Chiang Mai getting it from my favorite grumpy old lady's motorcycle cart, I made some.

A prettier version, stolen from the internet:

Should have dropped me a line. I just passed a vendor selling that. I could have posted it to you.

So my brother made a "Hitsujidon". Basically a Lamb sukiyaki cut instead of beef, and then followed the usual gyudon recipe.

Though it has more garlic and the strong taste of shiitake mushrooms mask the gamy aftertaste usually present when eating lamb meat.

Grilled off a couple of redfish fillets slathered in garlic mayo beforehand, and some baby asparagus. Also did a simple lentil salad with pickled red onion, green tomato and hearts of palm, with lots of fresh parsley and a slightly peppery olive oil.

And I just made a cocktail with bourbon, some barberry syrup that a neighbor made and cranberry bitters. It's promising but I might try it with an egg white next time.

My local Aldi has started selling Wagyu-sired beef burgers. They're thick, moist, gristle free and flavoursome. On toasted seeded brioche buns with grilled Maasdam cheese and sliced pickles

I can probably only hope that my Aldi will sell those.

Every time I use erythritol the next day I'm without energy. I'm not sure if it's the erythritol though but I think it is.

Had Lasagna today.

As a big pizza fan, I’m not overly keen on stuffed crust. If it’s there I’ll eat it but if it’s optional I’d rather do without. Nothing against it, just isn’t my preference.

So weird I can’t describe what the heck is happening. But it’s certainly good.

Then there’s this…

Little bit hot! After eating raw Reapers and Ghost though I can say I’ve had worse. Best are lemon peppers still. Less heat, but hits me in the euphoria department, and is the only pepper to do that to me.
