Decided to give a local Indian Takeaway a go.

So much goodness and deliciousness.

Now the wife will not eat any type of Curry. So starters it is.

Chicken Pakora - super lovely
Veggie Pakora - super lovely
Onion Bhaji - super lovely
Keema Samosa - super lovely

And for me…

Chicken Puri - Star of the show. Buttery, lightly spiced and so so so delicious. In fact it’s one of those dishes that you can have too much of a good thing. Came with a deep fried wrap/pancake.

Sorry no pics as it just slid down too easy. Really clean and not greasy, all the flavour and not just spiced to the point of fire and nothing else.

No pic of the food but one of the very small establishment. You know it’s small when it looks like a Smart Car can take it out.

Cool, been a while since I've seen a smartcar. Glad you and your wife had a wonderful dining time. Take care now, :)

Boy, I hope this works. It's too late at night to go shopping, I'm starving and all that's left in the fridge is half a GEM avocado, some red leicester and a few slices of bread. I also spread some Boursin garlic cheese on the other slice and sprinkled a little malabar pepper on to liven it up a little.

Cold meats are definitely on the shopping list for tomorrow.

Corned beef, carrots, colcannon, and Irish soda bread with a Guiness. I made the soda bread from scratch since I couldn't find it anywhere and discovered that I hate baking so incredibly much. Following an exact recipe is awful. The colcannon was mostly butter too because Paula Deen is my spirit animal.

I cooked up a nice NY steak and made a wrap. This was the steak pre wrap:

I added some onions, smoked provolone, cheddar, spinach, tomato, basil and some mayo/mustard. The rest of the steak will be had with eggs in the morning.

Here’s some other wraps I’ve made, since I’ve been in wrap mode:

Last night, me and my mom ate some chicken breasts, 4 yeast rolls, green beans, blackeyed peas, and some carrots. And a couple cups of steamed white rice. Trying to decide what we want for breakfast. We slept in some and woke up an hour ago.

I’ve been enjoying the Malay food too much. Although it’s Ramadan so finding a spot to eat before sundown is a bit difficult. Can’t name the dishes and don’t have photos, but they all went down nicely.

Must have clocked up something in the order of 30 pints of Tiger Beer in since Tuesday. I certainly miss Thai prices of alcohol, it’s a bit costly here.

Today for a late lunch, I'm having a turkey sub, with some Lay's potato chips, and some baked beans/pinto beans. I also have a small salad too. That should tie me over for a few hours until dinner tonight.

Last night, I was feeling quite hungry, as a certain Bohemian man would say. So I made hovězí guláš (goulash), houskové knedlíky (bread dumplings), and brambory v troubě (roasted mashed potatoes) with a glass of Pilsner Urquell. I recently picked up a new Lodge enameled Dutch over so this was the perfect meal to try it out with. The bread dumplings would've worked much better with the right kind of flour, but all I had on hand was whole wheat flour and I wasn't about to make a special trip into town for something else.
