Where has this song been all my life? I knew that Neil Hannon (aka The Divine Comedy) had collaborated with my favourite composer, Michael Nyman - but hadn't realised the influence that this had had on his music until I heard this. The album this track is from, "Absent Friends", also features composer (and musical genius) Yann Tiersen who is also a composer in a similar vein to Michael Nyman (and is most famous for his soundtrack to the movie, "Amelie")
