I cannot for the life of me finish this movie. I have to sit down one day with absolutely nothing to do but watch this movie.

Just finished watching this gem:

Again, can't believe I haven't watched it until now. The musical score alone makes the show worth it, on top of the top notch writing.

It does get a bit repetitive in terms of content cycles. Whenever they do a plot reveal, the next two episodes are filler episodes that you can't really skip because they contain some vague, yet important, plot detail that ties it all together.

If I had to watch this back when the show was airing I would he pissed knowing the next two weeks wouldn't be worth watching.

Also finished it with my wife. Great show. Was funny to watch it after Person of interest and HIMYM.

Currently watching Miami Vice. Every episode looks like full budget Hollywood movie. Gorgeous setting, great cast, top tier camera work, god tier soundtrack. Aged well.

Watching a kids show called Gon the Dinosaur, was intrigued with it being a 3D animation show but technically it is an Anime.

I don't like it, nor do I hate it but it's very fascinating to disect and figure out how this was made. Might be because I'm watching it in english dub but it really feels like a weird mutation of kid 3D animated shows and anime with the writing. After the first 2 episodes it goes into a formula where an issue shows up, Gon fixes the issue (whether intentionally or not sometimes he's even the cause) and then reveal the selfish desire of why Gon solved the issue. One of the things I find fascinating that despite being targeted towards kids, none of the characters are clear on whether or not they are good or bad. Gon is a kid and can act like a **** and every other character seems to have a negative or selfish purpose to them.

It also feels a little bit One Punch Man. Gon is ridiculously overpowered but it's played off like a comedy.

To give the show credit, it's the first time I laughed at a fart joke, even if ironically. Skunks having a fart battle like a DBZ Kamehameha stand off was surprising to find somewhat funny.

Aside from curiosity keeping me going with it. I do like the Skunk and the Armadillo (that looks more like a dog).

Just finished watching first season of 'Top Boy'. It was very good, just too short (only 4 episodes). Not so many good TV dramas dealing with this kind of subject I guess. And Brits can do really interesting and original TV series (like Utopia and Black Mirror).

Yeah, Top Boy - both the original & the revamped series - is very well done.

Just watched Ryan Reynolds in "Buried". Gotta be one of the most horrifying & depressing movies ever.

"Money Heist" returns for another season. Was really fun when it first appeared on the scene, but they really seem to be milking in f0r everything they can now - American style.

I watched the Netflix documentary "Bob Ross, Happy Accidents Betrayal and Greed" about the famous "Joy of Painting" star Bob Ross. I knew nothing about him other than his look and those saying he had like "let's put a happy little tree here". The business side of him get more complicated after he passed away than when he was alive. I thought the documentary was very good.

Just finished series 5 of The Expanse. Much better than series 4 , but not as good as the first 3.
