That's a very solid upgrade, @Kamuifanboy. 👍

Honestly, it's expensive, but it's completely worth the money. Running iRacing on max settings with triple screens averaging 80-90fps with cars around me, and Assetto Corsa on max settings averaging 60-70fps with cars around. All while running under 50 degrees Celsius.

Just found that's the maximum RAM memory my motherboard can use, so the next upgrade will be a little bit more expensive...

CPU: 860K @ 4.6Ghz
Motherboard: Gigabyte A88X UP4
CPU Cooler: Phantkek TXDC12 with two 3000RPM Notuca Industrial fans on it
Ram: 8GB of ram at CAS9 2133mhz
Storage: 1TB Hitachi HDD, 250GB Samsung Evo 850
GPU: MSI Gaming R9 390 at 1.18Ghz
Case: Fractal Define S w/ 8 case fans in it
Powersupply: 750 watt Evga G2
OS: Windows 10
Monitors: Two 1080P monitors.

My gaming PC:
Mobo: Asus M5A99 Pro Rev 2.0
CPU: AMD FX 8350 Veshira Black Edition 8 core 4.0 GHz, no over clock... Yet....
GPU: MSi AMD Radeon R9 380 2gig with an AIO liquid cooler attached.
RAM: 16gigs of generic Samsung RAM 4gig x 4. Slow stuff, but it works and came in at mint price of free.
PSU Rosewill Photon 750w gold cert.
Storage: Still working on this, right now random 2.5 and 3.5 drives collected from laptops and such over the years, running jbod style. Planning a 250 gig SSD for OS and main applications, and a 500gig for games.

I thought I had picked up a 4 gig graphics card, I was wrong... Once I move into VR, I may either get another 380, or more likely get a newer 8gig Radeon. That nano with liquid cooler looks nice.

Server build (WIP).
Mobo: EVGA nforce 780i (dual gig ethernet ports FTW!)
CPU: Intel Core 2 quad 9550 2.83ghz
GPU: Random old Radeon 5k series junk card. Perfect for what I'm doing here.
RAM currently running 3 one gig sticks of what I got it with. Will be going with the full 8gig while I build up this rig.
Case: this is where I am at the moment. I don't want a normal desktop case. Thinking I may go with an HTPC style case like newegg offers.

Currently satisfied with any kind of PC gaming, only 1080p at the moment. Using Windows 10 too.

Also saving up for a new build. (PC is at home, where its almost always by my family since I;m rarely at home, in college)
Waiting for the Cannonlake Mobo+CPU combo and the Pascal Nvidia GPU to come out. In the meantime, I'll be saving up for the other components (RAM, SSD, HDD, PSU) first.

Updated yet again yesterday. Was nearly impossible to fit two radiators and fans into the same slot. But, I jerry rigged it and made it work. Looks like a disaster, but runs like a champ.

Next upgrade I'd like to make is actually quite large. I'd like to get rid of my aging Processor and Motherboard and Case, and upgrade to a i5, Micro ATX and Smaller Case. Just really like the idea of a smaller form factor.

Having just made some upgrades, the PC which began life as a Dell XPS 8300 now has the following specs:

CPU: Intel i7-2600 (Sandy Bridge) @ 3.4GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 (2GB VRAM)
Motherboard: Intel P67 (as it came with originally)
RAM: 16GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600MHz DDR3 (4x 4GB sticks)
HDD: 2TB Hitachi (HGST) HDD
PSU: Corsair CX500M
Display: Toshiba Regza 42in LCD 1080p

I'm rather pleased with the PC I have now, considering almost all of it was done on a budget (why spend more than you need to?) I bought the XPS 8300 in 2011 from the Dell Outlet store fairly cheaply (the i7-2600 processor being the biggest draw from the original spec, which was fairly unremarkable otherwise), picked up the GTX 760 for about half of its original price early last year, picked up the HDD on sale a few months ago, and the TV I use as a display is an old-ish thing I've had for about 4 years (and picked it up at the time from Costco sans box and remote control for a very low price; I seem to recall it was an ex-display model).

Here's mine. Purchased it back in January:

Power Supply: COOLERMASTER 600 WATT PSU
Motherboard: GIGABYTE H81M-S2H USB3 10/1000 LAN PORT WITH HD AUDIO

You just came around to brag about that graphics cards! Jeez what a beast. How quiet are the silent wings?

Additional cores and threads with the 5960X. 👍
Slower in gaming though (Can be quite a big bottleneck for your GPU) and can also be the case regarding video encoding. Seems really expensive for what it is, ain't it like 3X the price? If you can make good use of it though, that's the main thing. 👍

What is there to brag about? I'm sorry, but why spend the extra 400-500 to get a Titan X, when it is worse than a 980Ti that costs nearly half as much? Unless obviously he got it before the 980Ti came out. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-980-Ti-vs--9223372036823115232

Due to my friend in Japan taking forever to ship me my PC that I left with him, I decided to get a budget PC in the interrim.

Well, budget in a sense... when leaving Japan, I did take some of my PC's parts with me. Namely, the two 780 Ti's and half of the 64 GB of RAM. Plus I have a Crucial MX200 1TB SSD from my old dead PS4 (Yes, I put a 1TB SSD in there). So I had a pretty good starting point in that regard...

So to put it in nice list form, I'm starting with these:

Graphics: EVGA GTX 780 Ti Superclocked x2
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 32 GB DDR3-1866
Storage: Crucial MX200 1TB 2.5" SSD

My budget for the rest was ~$400, so I ordered these:

Case: Corsair Carbide 330R Titanium
Motherboard: Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 R5
Processor: AMD FX-6300 Black Edition
Power Supply: Corsair CX750
Optical: Asus DRW-24B1ST 24x DVD-RW LG WH14NS40 Blu-Rei Drive

Eventually when I do get my main PC, I'll probably turn this into an AMD/Radeon build to contrast my Intel/Nvidia one. :P

Stumbled across another cheap ROG MARS760 a couple of weeks ago, so now I have a matching pair. My first one was purchased 10 months ago, but it seems these two were meant to be together - they have consecutive serial numbers!

In other news, last week, a 5820K caught my eye. It was probably just a coincidence, but today, an X99 Sabertooth virtually followed me home.

Here's kitty, so far

Case: CM Storm Sniper Black Edition
Motherboard: TUF Sabertooth X99
Processor: Intel i7 5820K
GPU: Asus ROG MARS760-4GD5 GTX 760x2
GPU: Asus ROG MARS760-4GD5 GTX 760x2

And here's what I'm eyeing off for purchase in the near future. These may change if better
deals are found on similar items

PSU: EVGA Supernova P2 1200watt Platinum
RAM: 16 or 32GB of G.Skill Ripjaws 4, quad channel DDR4-3000
SSD: Samsung 950 pro 256GB M.2
CPU Cooler: insert here

What if I told you that he actually had two Titan X's in there, and he paid less for it than a Z170 system with a 6700k and a single 980ti would cost?

Oh, and you shouldn't be quoting GPUBoss.

On topic, my current system is as follows:

CPU: Intel i5 4690k @ 4.4GHz; 1.25v
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D14
Motherboard: MSI Z97 Gaming 5
RAM: 16GB Kit of Crucial Ballistix Tactical @1866MHz
GPU: MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G
PSU: Corsair RM750
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro
Storage: 256GB A-Data SP900

I can assure you that the 5960x doesn't bottleneck any card, not even three cards.
