As we all know, PD have standardised many of the seasonal races into 400, 500 and 650 PP divisions. What are your cars that you leave set up ready to go for those? Mine are

Toyota 86 GT - 400pp
Lotus Elise 111 (tuned) -500pp
McLaren F1 (weight and engine tunes) - 650pp

I am interested to see what other people choose as their defaults.

For 400pp I use a tuned Citroën C4.Get's the job done
For the 500pp class I use a tuned Silvia S13
For the 650pp class I use a tuned Lamborghini NOMAD Diablo.Supercharger in it+soft racing tires=beast mode!

400PP: Alfa Romeo Brera (Premium one) De-tuned a bit
500PP: Suzuki GSX-R Tuned to meet the requirements
650PP: Chapparal 2J De-Tuned to meet the requirements

400PP: Suzuki GSX-R/4
500PP: Suzuki GSX-R/4
650PP: Usually the Mclaren F1 and 2J, and then other cars that are fun in that PP range. For the most recent A-Spec seasonal I've tried at least 10 cars at 650 PP range.

For 400PP, I get my Toyota 86 GT '12, because it's fast, quick, and gets the job done.

For 550PP, I pull out my Dodge Viper GTS '99 (with some tuning). This corners like a beast and is just fast. My favorite American supercar of all time.

For 650PP, I call upon the power of my beloved Mazda RX-7 TC. This is the perfect race car for any sort of race. The way it corners, the way it accelerates, and the way it stays stable, makes it a worthy choice for almost any sort of race.

See, why can't I find bad drivers like this online.

To the OP:

400PP: There are loads of cars, but my favorites here come in two flavors, rocket ship FFs, and older FRs. In the FF category, I like the Talon, the Hyundai coupés, and cars like that. Nothing fancy, pretty little cheap sports cars. They are fun to drive and go fast for their size in a straight line. In the FR category, I really like the old Datsun Z's. There are other older cars like that that I enjoy as well. I keep meaning to take out the old E-Type on a seasonal, but I don't ever get around to it.

500PP: There are boat loads of good cars at this range. Ofcourse, I like the R32s, who doesn't. I love the 3400 S and the RGT. They are just so much fun to drive. The NSX is a good standby if you go for that sort of thing.

Driving against the AI at 650PP is just annoying. I just go for the overkill with the R34 TC and move on.

My choices are pretty varied, but usually my first try cars are:

400pp- VW Golf V GTI
500pp- Audi S4 '03 (410 hp)
650pp- Oreca Viper GTS-R

500: The BMW M3 CSL '03 @ 497 PP. The best car for the 500 PP challanges imo. 👍

You know, I don't necessarily think it's about a certain favorite bunch of cars. Instead, it is more like a certain set number of cars for each track. Remember the 500PP Online Challenge (not sure if it was A-Spec or B-Spec) that featured Cape Ring Inside? Unless you're using one car and tuning it for multiple races, I think you need multiple cars in each level of Performance Points. Like I've always used the Premium NSX models for the 500PP, including the Race Modified NSX. But when there was the Tokyo R246 500PP event, I used my Ferrari 512BB. Some races don't allow for non-production cars to be used, so you have to consider that as well.

I am aware that I haven't answered the question asked here. I guess my newest 400PP weapon has been the Premium Mazda RX-7 from the early 1990s. My 500PP cars are usually the Premium road-going NSX models. The 650PP model of choice varies for me. I guess my weapon has been the 1997 McLaren F1 GTR.

So those are my usual suspects.

400PP 1990 Nissan Silvia (S13) Dia Selection tuned to 397PP.
500PP 2002 Honda NSX Type R 497PP
650PP 1999 BMW V12 LMR tuned to 650PP

i mostly race 500 pp and use the zonda c12 you hardly ever see these online and they fly its holds it own against the elise111r m3's and nsx type r's

i also use the aston (cant think of model not the dlc one) witch is also quick i use this untill faster cars join room the switch to zonda

as im 41 years old and i like to drive the cars i would in rl if i won the lotto. lol

650 would be Toyota ceurmo (spelling)

400-1993 Mazda 323 or 1986 Toyota MR2 supercharged

500- MG TF160 (I believe it's called) or stock Toyota Celica rally car (standard)

550- Shelby GT500

600- Lancer Evo DLC car (very good at Nurburgring)

650- Audi R8 Team Playstation

(thought I'd throw in a few extra PP's I use for online race)

Toyota 86 GT - 400pp
Lotus Elise 111 (tuned) -500pp
McLaren F1 (weight and engine tunes) - 650pp

Pretty much these. I use them to win the event for the first time and then use different, lower PP cars to add more competition.

Woah buddy, what you trying to say ? Just cause they are my go to cars means I'm a bad driver. Now that's a little judgemental if you ask me. I merely want to get them over with until 650, where I try to find the fastest car and set-up. Explain your reasoning please ...

I used loads of different cars but as I sometimes find it a bit too easy I try to find out which is the lowest pp car I can win them in, it makes it much more challenging and therefore fun.
It always amuses me when I see people on here moaning that seasonals are too easy and boring but they insist on doing them with maxed out cars with racing soft tyres, I think the way to get the most out of the seasonals you need to use comfort tyres for 400pp races sports tyres for 500pp and racing tyres for 650pp.

Variuos for the 400 and 500PP, 650 Nissan GT-R Yellowhat Tomica, fantastic handling ! But Mazda 787B, with downtuned engine to 650 PP is fantastic too !

Not trying to start a discussion in this thread but just wondering how you know this? I have no idea whether it is or not - never driven cars like this.

Anyway, I usually try different cars but fallbacks are

400pp Mini Cooper or Samba Bus
500pp Tuscan or Audi TTS
650pp 2J of course or MacLaren GTR race car

I generally give these to Bobs too.
