What are your GT7 2025 goals?

a replay of the campaign should keep my interest for a few weeks at least.
Are You Sure About That John Cena GIF by MOODMAN

just started to up my son's new account so he has cars, money and tracks available, did the "single player" campaign 3 years ago, forgot how boring and on rails it was...

For me:
-Keep improving my pace and racecraft.
-try to reach driverlevel A
-100% the game (own every car, gold all the licences, etc.)
Other than that start playing though some older GT titles.

Hmm, I've never heard of anyone refer to the GT7 campaign as being on rails. When I think of something being on rails I think the opposite of boring. Yet again, I've always liked the structured career of GT7 more than the open-ended design of prior titles...

I mean that you have to follow a narrow path and endure all the talking heads to get slowly access to more interesting content.
Which is something I quite like. I like starting with a sailboat and a lake rather than a yacht and a ocean.

Meaning, I prefer the structured campaign over open-endedness.

- Do more circuit experiences and online time trials.

- Get the Porsche Carrera GT '04.

- Keep it up with weekly challenges (been completing it since the first one).

- Make a full grid of F3500s representing the teams of 1992's or 1993's F1.

With now a full year to enjoy the game, the goals I have devised are as follows:

  • Focus the grinding for the 20 Million Credit Cars (Halfway done getting them, just need the other half)
  • Do abit more online racing. Didn't think I'd miss racing with people given the at times awful driving standards and yet my newfound self-esteem has me actually yearning to compete again. Nothing full season just yet, but just getting my feet wet.
  • Host a fictional series using the Custom Races. Been having a story in the background for years that I was kinda finally able to bring to life through the cars themselves in GT Sport and now can finally do via races in GT7. Tough task given the combined 31,770,000 credits to do so (22,000,000 for 10 Gr.1 cars and 9,770,000 for 19 GR.3 cars) but I'm up for it.
  • Continue with my Weekly Challenges Guides (Something I started after going "Hey, nobody really does this" and its going well so far)

That's my main ones.
Update: Finally got around to devising a calender for said series and based on what real tracks are used for three Sports Car series I've looked at (IMSA, WEC and ELMS), here's what I created based on the order of those real life races this year:

Round 1: Daytona Road Course
Round 2: Circuit De Barcelona-Catalunya
Round 3: Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca
Round 4: Circuit De Spa-Francorchamps
Round 5: Circuit De La Sarthe
Round 6: Watkins Glen International
Round 7: Autódromo de Interlagos
Round 8: Fuji Speedway
Round 9: Road Atlanta

Ideally, I hope to get all the 20 Million Credit cars at least before May or June so I can then get going on this proper.

Find a reason to play the game that doesn't revolve around either grinding for credits or logging in to do the daily work-out and logging off.

I started playing GT7 on Dec 31 2024, so I need to be realistic…

I want to achieve GOLD in CE:
1. Suzuka
2. Le Mans
3. Barcelona

I have done Spa, Monza, Interlagos.

Then maybe do online TT and just be good, progress.

I doubt Nurburgring CE is realistic

Another "rookie" over here with GT7. I started with the game in December too, so, my goals for this year...

Finish the "Bonus Café". I left 2 (Prototypes Gr.1 & another one, not visible at the moment)
Then, I want to focus in the "Menus Extra", and "catch 'em all." (I only have two or three, I think, completed, so I have a lot to do!)

Those are my "priorities", then I want to complete the Licenses (I have the IA right now, all golds) and the Missions (let's see...:nervous:)

The final desire is complete the car list, but for now, I just enjoying the experience without any "pressure".

Would like to update this with 2 additional ones:

  • Complete the Bugatti extra menu (This will be the final Extra Menu involving an Invite car and thankfully the Group C one was the last involving a LCD car while the Peugeot one was the last one for me needing a UCD car, leaving everything else to be available from Brand Central)
  • Complete the Missions.

My goals for 2025:
Complete the car collection, I am still missing invitation cars from Ferrari ( 2 pieces) and Aston Martin, I think 1 car.
Then there are still 2 or 3 legendary cars at 20 million each.
Complete the licenses, missions and CE in gold.
But I don't have the patience for that at the moment. So first I have to find them again.
And I'm curious to see if I can complete the 200.000 km.
I'm currently at 161.000 km. I started playing GT 7 at the beginning of July 2023.

My goals are to finish Circuit Experience Progress (I totally forgot that existed), Redo licences for Gold as many as possible. Maybe up my DR to A or B (arthritis sucks when you're old and can't compete with the youngsters).

(Maybe Race SuperGT one day) and try to achieve GT7's Platinum trophy....lofty goals but a man can dream....

My goals for 2025 are:

  • Recreating all of 2025 F1 liveries (done 6 out of 10 so far)
  • Making my first Nascar and Indycar replica liveries
  • Finally completing all the circuit experiences at the Nordschleife
  • Doing more online races

What is the 200.000 km?
What do you think?

I have now driven 160000 km in the game, in a period of 19 months playing GT. And I want to complete 200,000 km this year
I think that's quite a lot in that period of time. But there will certainly be drivers here who have driven far more kilometers.

Well, I am just not aware if this is some milestone for which you have a special prize or it is something that you just set for yourself…like any number.
