I've recently gotten my D Licence and I invested in the Skippy, but im getting frustrated with it, so I was wondering what car should I investee in or what track as well?
I would look at the results page for the series and see how many races go official. Also check the times they go official and if it matches up well with your schedule.

I would strongly recommend this approach. There's no point in us telling you what to race. Ask yourself a few questions. Are you more an open wheel or GT fan? What time(s)do I usually race? What series do I want to race eventually?
Based on these answers look at the available D class series and see which one best fits for you. You might want to race GT, but then find that the Mustang never goes official when you can race, but then find that the Grand Touring does. So do a little research and find what fits best then by the car and tracks for that. If you have any questions that pop up come back here and I'm sure there will be lots of people willing to help
If you want to race open wheel but are looking for something a bit more forgiving - Star Mazda is the place to be. But its a C class series.
Personally I'd stick with the Skippies until you get to C class, but only because I don't really like many of the other D class series other than Spec Racer Ford which can be even more frustrating to drive (though I love driving that too).
