What car would you want to make Racing Mod. on?

Why would you think that? Nobody's going to go around to everyone's house, boot up their PS3 and Race Mod all of their street cars while they are sleeping.

What the hell are you talking about?

I'm saying if PD allowed all premium cars to be RM'd then a lot of people would take advantage of it and there would be hardly no more street legal cars left that aren't RM'd, do you understand now?

Sorry, I just don't see how it would change anything. It's not like you can't find any rooms online that have people in street or partially upgraded versions of their cars in them. Just like it's not required to have an X2010 in order to compete online, or to use a race-modded version of a car in an offline event against street cars.

Well I mean just take all of the cars you can RM for instance, you don't see many that aren't RM'd that can be but anyways that's just my take on things. All in all I don't think it would be a good idea at all for PD to allow RM on all premium cars.

It would be waste to do it on a car that is modded such as the R8 and Ford GT. But i would be so happy if they made it one cars like the Ferrari F458, Aston Martin DB9, Lambo gallardo (Murcielago would prob just make it even worse...) and RX-7.

I guess I do understand your point but I just don't personally see it that way, I do see unmodded Camaros and Elises and Corvettes and such online so I don't think it's that much of a problem. Haven't come across too many non-RM'ed Cappucinos, I suppose.

2007 Mustang GT
Z4M

Standards I would like to see become Premiums and then race mods?

GT-350R. Why this iconic car was not turned into a premium model is still unknown to me.

To be honest, I'd just love to be able to put decals on my cars, give them some racing stripes, instead of just being stuck with the paints from other cars.

Enzo RM for me. You could end up with an LMP type car or an FXX. Either way I would be happy.

I'd like to see the RM Mini that was seen in some video footage of GT5 before it was released put back into the game.

Can you find me this video?

The Mustang Premium AND the Dodge Challenger SRT-8 so you can race them against the 2010 Camaro SS RM. Like a whole new Trans-Am series, I mean Forza has them, don't they, Why not us?

WOW, I didn't even see PhillGuy's post ^. Great minds....

Well we all have our opinions. 👍

Yeah....because we dont want racing in this driving game! Dont worry, it wont happen. GT5 is safe with all cars looking like all the others.

Sarcasm is very hard to distinguish over the internet so if your trying to be you might as well just say it straight up. You can still race street legal cars without them being race modified ya know? :odd:

Yes, that was sarcasm.

Being able to take ANY car, upgrade it with engine parts, engine swaps, body kits, race interiors, aero parts, wheels, paint, vinyls, and liveries, would only make GT5 better.

I dont see how being able to take a GTR and RM it to a GTR-GT1 car could be bad, or ruin the game. Or put a 3 rotar engine and race kit in a MX5.

And yes, you can race street legal cars. Like a Ford GT. Then you can have 2. One untouched and one RMed. How can that be bad? Unless you are one who likes to race 27-65hp identical cars around a track for 30mins, I dont see how you cant agree.

After racing in GT5 and seeing 3 Toyota Minolta cars in the same race, or 2 of the same NASCAR ones, or another car that looks identical to yours in a replay....I see how lazy PD got.

So instead of putting in even custom liveries, they updated with clothes for drivers 👎. Ick.

Like you said eariler, different opinions. I just feel without being able to customize your car it makes my GT5 playing feel so disconnected.

Well i'm not going to sit here and write a huge detailed response to that but i'm all for a livery editor and engine swaps but when you RM a car it doesn't do any of that and like I said earlier I just think the use of race modifications would be way overused and what not.

Lexus LFA '10
Lamborghini Murcielago LP-640 '09
Nissan GTR SpecV '09
Mazda RX7 Spirit R Type A (FD) '02
BMW M3 Coupe '07
Honda S2000 '06
Audi R8 Quattro '09
Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione '08
Ford GT '06
Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe '06
Ferrari 458 Italia '09
Mercedes SLS AMG '10
Maserati GranTurismo S '08
McLaren F1 '94

I picked all of these so there would be more variety with the car dealerships having RMs. :)

I would LOVE to see a livery editor added to GT5. I really think it is the major missing piece that's missing to making this game pronominal. I don't see how games like Midnight Club can do this but PD can't work it into this game. 👎👎 There is no excuse in my opinion to continue leaving this feature out when almost all other racing games allow soooooo much visual customization. I don't want to see engine swaps added though. For as much fun as it would be to drop the 2jzgte into an ae86, I think it would be horrible for the overall game's feel and especially the online racing.

First off, STAY ON TOPIC.
Second I hate livery editors because nothing would be special anymore. (Had to put in my opinion)
Third, LFA RM! As someone had in their list. That would be awesome! Kinda bummed me out when I couldn't put a GT wing on it.

Love to have an Alfa 8C RM or an Enzo RM

The Enzo would never be RM and its unrealistic.. Its like RM'ing a Veyron.. Its too expensive..

I was wondering the same thing, and to add:

Aston martin DB9
Audi R8 5.2 FSI
BMW M3
Ferrari 430
Ferrari 458
Jaguar XKR Coupe '10
Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

So is the M3. There's lots of RM'ed versions of it ;)
