No, it isn't.
I was saying that with the upgrade of the engine/performance, they must be working on it somehow.

Yea that's what I meant. I thought you were being slightly facetious. Turns out not!

Just one or two would suffice.

the picture is one reason

This is coming from a marketing stand point, if the X2011 prototype were to be on the cover it would boost sales because the car is kewl and futuristic making people who have never heard of Gran Turismo want to buy it with out even knowing anything about the game just knowing that the machine on the front cover looks kewl

Don't agree with that at all, sorry. GT is a car racing game and people are much more likely to buy it seeing their favourite supercar on the front rather than a fictional race car nobody knows anything about unless you've played GT5.

The idea of a fictional, theoretical car on the front cover with "The real driver simulator" tagline seems like a bizarre mashing of marketing angles to me.

Nissan Deltawing?

DeltaWing?

If the rumours I've heard are true, there's not a chance in hell. It might be a Nissan-engined car and driven by a number of Nissan factory drivers, but Don Panoz holds the licensing rights and it's rumoured he requires $1m for licensing.

Of course he might be persuaded to make a deal, given his car's relationship with Nissan (engine, drivers, factory support) and Nissan's with Sony (GT Academy).
So, prolly not.

Its not really nissan deltawing as said before, thats the sponsor/supplier of bits. Its just Deltawing.

look, no nissan logo.

"The DeltaWing is a racing car under the Project 56 name, composed of Ben Bowlby's DeltaWing Racing Cars (design), Dan Gurney's All American Racers (constructor), Duncan Dayton's Highcroft Racing (racing team) and International Motor Sports Association owner Don Panoz (advisor). Nissan's NISMO division is also assisting in the development of the car."

Maybe PD should just invite them all for a talk, after all, we have a Panoz car already. Maybe Bowlby is the guy to sweet talk as it was his idea.

Maybe a 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 or the Dodge Concept Car from the first two Gran Turismos

They look like a Mustang I Concept that was beaten to death with a large blunt object.

That blunt object took a good looking car and made it beautiful then,
