I just don't see why they would put an 'old' car under a tarp, it has to be something new. Otherwise the reveal, whenever it may me, is going to be a big anti-climax.

But the F12 ain't exactly a spring chicken either is it? ;)

Looking at it.

Drive Club has the Huayra
Forza has the P1
Need for Speed has the F12
GT should have the Agera for a full set (veyron is 9 years old)

But its definitely front engined rear wheel drive.

Also checked this,

The production F Coupe But its the rear end thats wrong

We need some Brit-love for GT6! Get the CX16 right now! Although, there's a production coupe soon… wait... WAIT! WHAT IF IT WAS THE PRODUCTION F COUPE?

I would say either its the new 2014 Aston Martin DB9 or the new 2014 Acura NSX.
Personally being a fan of the original NSXs i would love to see the "14 Acura NSX as the cover car.

maybe it is a brand new car that Polyphony designed with an automaker and the car will be unveiled at the launch of GT6?

M3ShadowPower
... the new 2014 Acura NSX.

The Acura NSX Concept, which will be virtually the same as the production model, has a completely different roof line.

The Nissan Z '14 is my guess.

Closest thing we have to a Diablo, is a Diablo.

May not be a road car, but we have one.

I knew about the Nomad. 👍

I was reffering to the fact that PD didn't add a Roadcar Diablo like the:
Diablo
Diablo VT 6.0
Diablo SE30
Diabo SV
Diablo GT
Diablo VT
Diablo VTT

There is alot of cars that PD could have added. :indiff:
I would be surprised to see a Roadcar Diablo.

And I said the Cizeta, because it is pretty much a Diablo Prototype, with some chrysler bits and a V16 Engine.

This is slated for next years release, next Z is a bit further off.

Roof lines to angular for the hidden car.

you forgot the diablo gtr, the most beautiful diablo of them all.

I cannot believe it took me this long! The car under the cover is the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Final Prototype! Could someone please make a comparison photo for proof?

I mean, the rear spoiler matches, it's too long to be a GT86, the rear doesn't have the same angle as the 370Z, so it has to be it!

This was established a long time ago that it is not. ill do a quick shop of it though

The front window line doesn't doesn't nor does the rear line and the spoiler (I lined up the wheel wheals if you were wondering)

Ok thanks. Now that I can see a clear picture instead of a vision in my head, I see what you mean. Maybe it is the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta?

Basically it matches almost nothing, and nothing has that front end.

The closest we have is some concept drawings of the next Nissan Z that appeared on Jay Leno's Garage and some upcoming Aston.

 Dammit PD

They are good and crafty, even though the air flow has moved the cover there some, if you look really close, the front is more flat than inclined with some kind of splitter at the bottom.

Maybe there isn't actually a specific car under te cover? Maybe it's meant to create speculation. As I recall they did the same thing with GT1. They never told us the car under the cover.

Yeah but as I said earlier that worked as a cover because the tarp was completely covering the car and we saw it all (The tarp). This one would look stupid on the cover without the car IMO, just a floating tarp or an invisible car.

I searched the thread for "GT-R" and nothing came up, so in the interest of exploring possibilities, the 2014 GT-R from Nissan's site:
