What Car You Love To "Cruise" In?

I have a few...

Least but not last: The Tank Car (only because if I try any pace faster than "cruise" in it I crash with extreme prejudice)

The Buick Special: Really quick but at the same time feels so lazy. I love driving this car and just messing about in it.

Ruf BTR and Cizeta V16T: Same reason as the Buick really.... I muck around with their slightly unhinged chassis in the bends, and then laugh like a kid when their characterful engines poke me down the next straight.

Ironically, I have yet to cruise in the Chrysler PT Cruiser. :)

I love the subaru legacy, its beautiful and has the power of an impreza.
I drive it only stock.
respect too your car choice:tup:

when i need to just let out a little steam with a race car i just hop in my GT LM spec II i mentioned my road going car earlier

No one likes the Skyline BLRA-3 Sport Coupe at all I see... Not one person mentioned it.

The other Skyline GT-B is also a classic I love to take on a spin. It has a nice sound, and looks crisp. I drive it almost everyday in red, and constantly give it a wash... It's nice, also I slightly modified it so it would stop spinning the inside tires on the exits of corners.

Total Newb here. About 5% completion - 1st 3 licenses...

Subaru Impreza Sedan WRX STi spec C (GD Type-II) ('04) - moderately modded by Mine (nice suspension!)

Closest thing in the game to my real life '05 turbo forester.

I also really enjoy the SLR.

u enjoy the SLR:scared: that thing is a nightmare with its brakes:grumpy:
my favorite cruise car is the dtm audi tt drives like heaven

The SLR brakes are not that bad, come on it's stopping a car that is heavier than a Toyota Tacoma X-Runner, and your driving speeds are also higher which means greater braking distances... Why no one notices that? That is why the TVR Speed 12 gets turned down by people, not realizing they're going WAY faster and people are not using the Square button enough.

I just dislike the SLR because of M34 :nervous: I haven't even so much as LOOKED at the car since that horrible experience...

edit: and I love just cruising around in my fully modified Integra and Golf :) I don't know which specific models because my game is at home and I'm at University for my last week of finals :(

Anything from the Group B era for me. Nothing beats flying down narrow streets in a Delta S4 scaring small children. 👍

And RS200s, T16s, Quattros and the like are just pure goodness. :)

I cruise with this car a little bit of everywhere, but it spends most of its time at the Ring revamping the suspension setup daily! :sly:

VY SS Commodore fully modded (700hp+), with S2 tyres........TCS OFF!! Take it around Motorland Normal and just floor that throttle and go fishtailing ALL DAY it's so controllable!!

Mafs!!

Triumph Spitfire 1500: Not much quicker than a Nissan Micra in a straight line, but it's an eager little car that likes to kick it's tail out now and again. Agile little thing that was made for narrow, twisting routes like Britain's country roads... or Costa Di Amalfi.

Ford Ka 1.3: Only 60BHP coming from it's ancient engine, but it's fun on twistier bits of tarmac, such as Motorland, Amalfi, certain bits of the 'Ring, etc. I think it does a better job of being a modern-day Mini than BMW's effort!

Honda CRX VTEC EF8: Loves to have it's nuts revved-off and corners well too. Feels better than the 160ish BHP you have on offer. Lots of fun just about anywhere.

Honda NSX: I'm not to to name specific models, though the 3.2 is obviously the better car. Great engine noise, and it corners very well, even if it gets a tad twitchy at times.

Lotus Esprit Turbo HC: Not the quickest one, but don't underestimate 1980s handling! Easy car to get sideways.

RUF BTR/CTR: Fun to hot-lap because of the challenge involved. YOu have to adapt your driving style substntially just to stay on course.

Spoon S2000 Road Car: Corners like it's on rails. Surely a good car for the Nurburgring 4hr.

Cusco Advan Subaru Impreza JGTC: Not the most pwoerful race-car, but good in it's own right.

BMW M3 GTR Race Car: Stable, quick, grippy. Will do the Nurburgring 24hr well, and if you just want to drive around a track very quickly for a bit, it's good for that too.

I could name a few others that I like hot-lapping when bored (Mitsubish Evo VIII, Toyota MR2 AW11, etc). These being cars I've picked because they're responsive, grippy and/or chuckable, which suits the way I like to drive when I want to have a bit of fun.

In life I drive a 1992 mk3 VW Golf GTI.
On Screen it's gotta be:
1- VW Golf GTI mk1
2- Holden Commodore SS (*)
3- Mazda RX7 Bathurst

* I drove one of these when I was on holiday.
You're right Mafs. High revs, tail out but its still hard to lose it!
