Let's see, what did I buy yesterday?:

Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4. Tuned to become a police car, then restricted by 10hp and set to 10/90 front-to-rear power distribution to become a Valentino Balboni police car.
Nissan GT-R 2012. Also tuned to become a police car.
Audi Quattro. Plan to turn this into a rally car.
Ford Taurus SHO. I gave my old one to ajz975.

How do you tune a car so it's a police car?

Well, I give it a few power upgrades so it can keep up with speeders a bit better. I also give it height-adjustable suspension and maybe rigidity enhancements to help it corner better. I may finish off with new wheels and a new paintjob. Then, the car is signed off by me for police duty. Who knows? I might start selling my products...

Oh, cool.

Anyway, bought two cars today.
The first one is a Suzuki Swift Sport. I've tuned it up to supposed Rent4Ring Stage 3 spec, which means a full weight loss, a racing exhaust and other power mods to take it up to 150HP, and racing hard tires. Haven't have the chance to test it on the Ring yet (Online... -_-), but it should be awesome.
The second one is a Subaru BRZ. I've installed a sports exhaust, fully customizeable suspension, a new aero kit, new wheels and sports medium tires. It's just a little project to see what I can do with lightly tuning an 86/FR-S/BRZ.
Got into one room on TGTT to test the new cars as well as my XJ13, before leaving, being unable to join another room, and spending the rest of my PS3 time on F1 2011. I am now determined to get to Level 40 to win a Ferrari F10...

Bought 2 Mercedes Benz C63 today. Both for my replica thread. They're the HMS TUNING C63 and Romeos Ferrari WhiteStorm C63. One in matte white and one in black

Today, I bought the Ford Mustang GT Premium, and copped it. (Made it a cop car, copped ). I supercharged it, got aftermarket rims, racing soft tyres, a fixed suspension sports kit, all drivetrain parts, 6 speed transmission, intake manifold, racing air filter, ecu chip, and catalytic converter, and exhaust manifold. I was deciding between the camaro ss and ford mustang. I chose mustang cuz it's ford lol (I don't really like chevy's, only thing similar to chevy's that I like are callaways). I bought the ford and made it be an undercover cop car. Did, I buy too much parts? I was thinking that it would be good at undercover and those a******s wouldn't think of slowing down.
EDIT:

414 hp
444 torque
Tell me what you think, and when you break in a car, the torque also goes up right?
Any suggestions on what to improve?

Today, a bunch of stupid cars I'll never drive to try to get to an arbitrary number to receive a meaningless trophy.

The Plymouth Prowler made me feel good though, I see those on the roads around here about once a year or less.

I've experimented with a Mustang cop car, and while I've supercharged it to 414HP and 480PP, without the supercharger, it falls to 355HP and 460PP. I feel it's just a bit too slow for police duty. So if you don't like Chevrolet, why not try the Dodge Challenger SRT-8? It's worked for me. It looks awesome. With my usual host of power mods (ECU, intake manifold, racing air filter, exhaust manifold, cat converter), it's making 500HP and 513PP, similar to a stock C5 Corvette Z06. It's pretty much the car that started up my cop car business.

Considering the wealth of money I had...

Pagani Zonda 7.3: i
I turned this baby into a makeshift Zonda 760RS. The sound of this beast with semi racing exhaust is indescribable, possibly the best V12 sound in the game. The Speed? Well, it's only 2 seconds slower in a mile drag compared to a Veyron, so i think it's good stuff.

Ferrari California:
I gave this thing the Barbie treatment and added some comfort tires for drifing, which it does well.

Ok, thanks Firehound! I recently also bought a srt8 but for the opposite reason (to race against cops!). I did notice that the mustang was a little slow, so I thought about maybe making a weight reduction on it, then I thought of maybe breaking it in fully (the torque also goes up right?). Maybe even puting in a customizable tranny. IDK. I still want to use it for smaller tracks though.

Well, if you give it enough tuning, the Mustang can be effective. I once built an exhibition drift cop car Mustang with more serious modifications than I usually give street ready cop cars and at that stage it was giving 580HP and enough PP to rival a stock Viper or my pursuit tuned IS F. I've gotten rid of it, but a fully tuned Mustang should give about 700HP, so keep at it and you should have a vehicle you're happy with. I guess that's the point, because what's the point of driving a vehicle and depending on it if you don't like it?
