What did you buy today?

I got on a kick of old cars, mostly old Japanese cars as thats what I"ve been finding in UCD. The first car i ever bought in game was a 67 Skyline 2000 GT and it's got the power to oversteer & get a little interesting to drive. I was messing with it recently, doing Japanese Classics race, and then decided I might add to my small collection of 160 cars. Gone on a buying spree.

Now I can't get my PS3 online and get a lot of credits from seasonals or shop the OCD so I'm kind of limited. Wanted to save up for a Miura as I like the RWD classic Lambos, but now I've gone & spent too much on other cars. Maybe next week.

I picked up a '66 Honda S800, '65 Toyota Sports 800 with 191,098 miles !!, 1970 Mitsubishi Galant GTO MR (should be fun, 351 PP before i've done anything to it), '65 Nissan Silvia CSP311, '62 Mazda Carol 360 Deluxe, '68 Mazda Cosmo Sport (another hot one with old school rotary engine) and the one I'm most looking forward to trying, '69 Nissan Bluebird Rally Car.

also grabbed Nissan '98 R390 Road car for well more than the price of all those together i'm sure.. sweet ride though.

I hit 20million credits for the first time so I went on a spending spree and this is what I have bought so far:

A few cheap cars from the OCD... you know a Vertigo, an 88C-V, a couple of those colourful Nissan LeMans cars. Oh and a Toyota Starlet Glanza from the used lot.

Yet another '08 Fiat 500, in red. Not only does it look stylish with design cues from the 1950's, it's also one of very few cars that has a working clock, a working fuel meter and a working odometer. And a cockpit view where you can actually see the rear view mirrors. I wish more cars had those things...

Edit: The odometer is at 300 km already, I spent an hour at Special stage route X trying to figure out if the fuel meter was working or not. I thought it didn't at first, but after many many laps one of the red dots went black and it turned out that the car is just very, very cheap when it comes to fuel.

A friend of mine was telling me about the rarity of the Ford GT '02 yesterday. I backed out and saw it for 999,270 cr. with 91 miles. Awesome car.

I think you convinced me to buy one of those. I'm always looking for something easy to drive with a comfortable cockpit view.

On the other hand, today I bought the black Ford GT LM Test Car today.

You do realise you can get that one with the supercar seasonals right?

I bought a new Nissan Skyline R32 TC. Painted is MattBlack. Sweet car.
Also bougt a new Challenger TC. That car drives surprisingly well. Painted is Chome silver. Looks very nice.

Enough already. If you don't want to post in this thread, then don't. Nobody's forcing anyone else to mash the keyboard.

When I bought GT5 a few months back I was essentially looking to create a "McLaren F1 simulator" and for the longest time it was one of the only cars I had in my garage. Just wasn't interested in anything else.

Over time of course, the car geek in me saw the light of other great additions in the game.

Most recent purchase, a day ago, was the SEMA award winning Corvette '60. I'd love to mob around my town in that hanging my ink'd up arm over the edge while I cruise. Badass.

With that said, I still consider my garage a very elite place. I only have 56 cars, maybe 55. Not just anything is going to make it in. ;)

RUF BTR '86, painted it light blue and matte black rims, tuned it for a 500PP online "Porsche" event and had a ten lap blast around Nordschleife. Just fantastic!

I'm just rebuying all cars, seeing how their 2.09 handling fare. Some are great (i.e all Ferraris), some are worse than before (Lancia Stratos), some offer a very surprising new feel (Gallardo with a mild wing), and some longtime neglected ones, that come with Aero Ajustments,(Amuse ->Nismo Lagerra) because they just offer that stability and smoothness after hour+ long sessions trying to tune road cars to behave properly, or the way you want them to, knowingly, according you your knowledge of the track and what you would like the car to do at any given time, respecting realistic variables of course. (I want my car to win all races against anyone!) right, lol.

This game will never get old, thankfully, because the wait for GT6 and PS4 is still a long ways ahead.

I tip my hat to people that get awesome laptimes in cars such as Mazda RX-7's or VW Golf or even BMW M3's for that matter, because these are cars that for some strange reason, I simply am very very frustrated with and think they are severely overrated in my book. Whatever works for some, won't for others, I just like heavier cars around the Nur.

A Skyline GTR in Midnight Purple 3 (Revenge of the son of Midnight Purple in 3D) - Bought for the paint chip.

Jealous of that RX7-LM

Got a 180SX Type X for 16882 kazulas, 400pp over 200ponies under the bonnet, "Only one lady driver "Swiss Toni said about the car when I bought it.

Washing a car, is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. You've got to caress the bodywork. Breathe softly and gently. And give every inch of it your loving attention. And make sure you've got a nice wet sponge.

I finally got my first 0/0/0 in UCD yesterday it was a 2 MIL Viper Oreca #91 and today i got my favorite LMS car in another color i got the R8 LMS in blue so happy :D
