Well it wasn't today it was two days ago, but I bought the Camaro IROC-Z Concept '88 with the intention of tuning it to make it driveable at 600pp with sports medium tires. Currently it is a tire spinning, unbalanced, beast but I think after a few hours of solid testing and tuning I should be able to make it useable.

My 100th, so popped the Fanatical Collector Trophy.

finally got my red bull jr and McLaren F1 prize cars....
I've had the RB for some time but the McLaren - my my I see what so many IRL are on about! Lovely cockpit. Not so sure about the soundwerks... (I thought it was the 7.1 codex playing out on a 5.1 decoder but....nay not so....

Yeah, that Prius is about 20 seconds slower than the CR-X around Suzuka Circuit :/

But my Prius isn't an average Prius...

It's a Prius that can rev until 600,000 RP/M. :sly:
-It revs so hard, that the analogue tachometer spins like a Coked-out top when it goes down the Matterhorn.

I am almost basically just buying cars to meet the PS3 Trophy for 100 cars. Helping that cause are these vehicles I snapped up...

I had a McLaren in my GT6 garage previously- the McLaren F1 GTR Race Car Base Model. I then later sold it just to increase my money. I then went ahead and got a new McLaren- the MP4-12C. I painted it over in the beautiful Gran Turismo Blau color from the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.

The 2011 Mini Cooper S Countryman was also added to my collection. Giving it a new color takes away the white top of this big Mini (quite the oxymoron, eh?). Though I got it in Oxford Green, it does look nice in a silver color. I just didn't like the dark silver among the factory colors. So I went with painting it Brilliantsilver.

A car I always considered to be beautiful and among some of the most beautiful BMWs of all time was added to my garage, and it was one I always wanted to own in the game- the BMW Z8. I had enough money to get one after I finished the Circuit de la Sarthe Toyota TS030 Hybrid Seasonal.

I was extremely pleased to get the 1972 Alpine A110 1600S. This is one of my all-time favorite cars. I'm keeping this baby in its original Alpine blue colors.

I haven't driven it, but the official 81st car in my collection is the 2011 Lexus IS-F CCS-R. You can paint over the Orange Mica if you don't like it. This car handles very well at speed and in braking. It can easily be a car you could easily enjoy racing the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I learned this having testing this car around Matterhorn Rotenboden, which is fast becoming a favorite test track of mine.

These are the five cars I bought today. I hope not only to have them around, but also hopefully utilize them in various races.

As I've been unable to finish a complete lap, I haven't been able to enjoy racing it. I also highly doubt that completing a lap (thereby having raced the track) will transform my opinion of the car. But hey, you bought it and you enjoy it--that's all that matters.

I have just been reminded that the Nürburgring Nordschleife Seasonal includes the Lexus I talked about in my latest post. I have NOT run that Seasonal yet. I just mentioned Green Hell because of the performance of the Lexus IS-F CCS-R. It is pretty agile for being a fairly big car. Considering what races and tracks this car has taken on, it is a car mostly made to handle the 'Ring quite well. Most of you know I hate racing any course that uses the Nordschleife. The performance and handling of that Lexus is good enough to be a dream to race around that course. I like using Matterhorn Rotenboden as a test track. It reminds me a lot of the elements that make the Nordschleife so challenging- mostly the narrow, twisty roads and tricky undulating elevations.

I just wanted to make that sort of clarifications in regards to the Lexus IS-F CCS-R.

Just bought myself a Peugeot 908 HDi base model only to find out that the lights next to the "number plate" that tells you what position you're in don't work. Anyone else notice that?

I bought a Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car and it's a real killer for drifting. It drifts like a FR drifter does. :D :D
Also I bought the Stealth Family.

Our AzureFlare weirdly inspired me to get the Daihatsu Midget D-Type to my collection when I saw it could be equipped with a rear wing from an avatar image. I didn't equip mine with one, but I did buy one of these and even got it in Red Mica. I think I had it in a candy red sort of color when I got this Daihatsu in Gran Turismo 2. So I ended up getting me a Daihatsu to add to my collection of some 80 or so cars.

This is actually "what did you buy yesterday," since Midnight just crossed as I tried to prepare this post. Part of me wants to add two more cars to my collection- both electric machines. If I get... those machines, I'll report back to this thread, granted I'm still alive, I'm still a GTP member, this thread remains open, my Internet connection doesn't fail me, and if I'm able to properly prepare a post to this fine message board I've been a part of for going on 10.5 years.
