What did you do in GT7 today?

I drove the GT350R on Interlagos, the Huayra on Sardegna, the 918 on Fuji, the E46 M3 on High Speed Ring, the Testarossa on Deep Forest and AMG GT GT3 on Brands Hatch.

Ran Sardegna with the 787B. 24:15.371 race time. That was my goal to hit but I didn't expect to hit it so quickly. Maybe my new goal should be 24 flat.

Wheel of despair gave me a 6 star (parts) roulette ticket for the second day in a row. High lift cams for an Enzo. I wonder if those could be installed on a car with the Enzo engine swap in it.

Hmmm.. after big purchases & run'n low on the cash flow, decided it was time to get back to some more griding at TM.. & of course with the RUF, Enzo, & asstd. badass blow you into the walls rides, really it doesn't matter at this point.. LoL.. but what does matter is my music/mindset, & for tonight ?? well, it's throwback time.. had to trace the racing roots back for this one, but it's gold!.. (NASCAR 2003 & HED-PE.. about the same time I ran into GT.. amazing.. ) so, think of this while your doin' your werk.. (and no that's not a mispell)..

Trimmed some time in the IA tests. I did get a few PBs. IA 10 was a .5 PB down to a 55.880 IIRC. Still, you know, 2+ seconds back from Dan in the #1 spot

Not the best GT7 evening. Tried again to take on Road Atlanta with the Jaguar, but it turns out that either I'm very bad (most likely), the car is very bad, or I'm still in need of a decent tune; unfortunately this car seems to be forgotten by everyone or only used to grind Sardegna at 800pp, so after wasting more than an hour trying to set it up I gave up.

Took the swapped Z34, ran one of the worst Sarthe of my whole GT7 career, won the 825k and bought the two Hagerty cars I needed, the Mercedes SEL 6.3 and the Superbird. 4* Wheel of (Mis)Fortune gave me a Citroen invitation, but I already have the GT by Citroen so it's useless.

Not much today just continue doing the spa 1 hour race.

Also made a goal list of the cars I'm gonna buy next.

Over the next week I plan on buying.

Lamborghini Veneno 2013
Mazda 787B 1991
McLaren P1 GTR 2016
Peugeot 908 HDI FAP 2010
Toyota GR010 Hybrid 2021 #7
Toyota TS030 Hybrid 2012
De Tomaso Mangusta Christian Dior 1969
Audi R18 e-tron 2016 #7
Toyota TS050 Hybrid 2016 #5

All while conserving my credits.

:)

On the Plus account, I took the detuned BMW M3 GT to Sarthe for the easy money. The no-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair gave another nitrous system, which didn't help any in acquiring the Mazda 787B. 23 cars to go, with 230,250,000 Cr. needed to acquire.

On the GTP account, it was the Viper Gr.4's turn at Sarthe, which was wet enough for full tires, and only Haywood joining me for a 7th lap. The all-cash 3-star Wheel of Despair gave the low-showing 10,000 Cr. Still, it was finally enough to get the 2018 Ford GT Race Car needed for this week's WRS time trial.

Αs the January update didn't came (why Kaz?) i I decided to spent some money
and i bought a Jaguar XJ9R (Group C aficionado) and F1500T-A (what a racecar!!!)
I checked liveries that i download for the two new cars (Please PD let us to check in my library section by car selection!!)
I did some races in Daytona (24hrs of Daytona is in this weekend)
In roullete i got 4 star and 500k (nice)

I asked one person on here before and received an unhelpful response...

Don't think there is an advantage tbh, I understand some into sports mode do it for various reasons, usually something to do with rankings.

Don't see any point/advantage if you're single player mode only, but each to their own.
indeed, asked someone to but no response, must be a very difficult question
I'll stick with my one and only account then

I took one of the 3 F40's out of the garage for a photodrive in France, difficult braking with the buffed LM version, i love how it sounds, i love the looks, but still trying to find a tune were it doesnt turn to Saturnus when you slam the brakes

I bought a whole bunch of stuff, including the Gr. 2 extra menu cars and won a 787b engine! So difficult deciding which cars to choose for my 3 engines since each fits 2 vehicles (also have the R8 and Mustang engines) but I’ll probably pick the Pantera, MR2, and RX-7 for those. I grabbed the Porsche 917 Living Legend and Pagani Zonda R yesterday and I ran those 2 at Spa and Sardegna and these 2 seem to be made for those races. With those winnings I also got the Bugatti Chiron and VGT for whenever I finally get the Veyron invite to complete that extra menu. Productive few GT days and I still have more than enough credits to buy the next 2 legendary cars that hopefully appear tomorrow.

Ahhh that takes me back to my teens! And gives me reason to get (Hed) P.E. playing on Spotify to get me through my work day. Thanks!

Last night I had a little extra time compared to normal, so I decided to get stuck into the Human Comedy missions, having never had a go at any of them. I used a @praiano63 tune for my Mazda Roadster TC and gave it a Visco RX-7 livery (Bathurst 12h winner, 1994) and got stuck in. Exactly 1h later, I crossed the line in first, 33s ahead of Kokubun, and netted 1.2 mil for my efforts. Roulette ticket was a 6-star parts ticket which returned an Ultra turbo for the GT-R Nismo '17. I'll definitely be making use of that at some stage!

The 787B engine in the RX-7 is the better choise imo, i find the RX-8 not realy nice to drive with it, but maby someone has a great tune for it tho.
I swear by the RX7- swap :)

I see alot of players work with two accounts, what is the advantage of doing so?
Not sure about anyone else, but I initially set up a 2nd account just for Sport mode. Decided to have that garage only with race cars. Was planning to stop the Cafe progression after unlocking online, but realised I needed to keep going to access the full range of credit acquisition opportunities.

No advantage, I have to do twice as much grinding and tracking of the race cars at the Legends dealer.

I did the same in Sport, but decided to turn that into a drift car collection in 7. I've barely used it though, it takes so much time to build the car collection in 7 that I'm focusing on the main account only these days.

That's clear, thanks for the reply 👍
Seems indeed like alot of extra work, i thought maby accounts could be linked or something but i do understand now.
twice the grinding .... hello no :lol:

If you want it only for Sport mode, no need to grind, just do a couple of Cafe missions until you unlock the Sport mode and then just rent all the cars :) I also started the second account, because I completed everything on my main account and it became boring. And on the second I just drive what I like, missions, challenges, Sport mode, Time Trials, buy couple of favourite cars that I use often (mainly Gr3/Gr4 and of course my favourite GrC cars). I didn't do a single grind yet, all the money I collected from circuit experiences and missions I use for cars and that's basically it :)

Unfortunately I wanted to put my own livery on pretty much all the cars - an expensive decision.

Understandable, I do the same thing. But for Sport mode, you don't need more than 10 cars I suppose? For Gr4 - Subaru, GTR, Alfa, Viper maybe, for Gr3 - 911, GTR, Supra, AMG and maybe Mustang. I'm talking about metas of course, 95% of all users use these cars in almost all races, with the exception of drivers who intentionally want to use something else. So you're covered with let's say 5 mil, which you can win easily in Nurburgring circuit experience in like an hour max :)

No, gotta collect them all.
Well, maybe not all - I'm only getting the real(ish) Gr.Bs from the Legends dealer, no dumb NSX rally cars.

Have all the gr4 to gr2 on the 2nd account now. I prefer a pick-n-mix approach rather than boring metas, plus I can't drive the GTR anywhere near as fast as most online. The expensive part is going to be all the Gr1s, may leave the VGTs for last as I rarely use them even when a suitable race does pop up.

I didn't have more than 10 minutes to play the game last night so I took the Tomahawk to the big oval for a few laps just to get my roulette ticket. 3 star that gave me some sort of AMG race car.
