I made this little video of Race B.. it's a ram fest that track. What do you lot think of this guy's actions?

I don't think you deserve it, but your move was not very clean as well just as you mentioned. That was probably something he couldn't handle and showed that to you the hard way.

Yep my move wasn't great, not proud. However everyone does this move to me when I race on this track, there is a lot of this stuff going on.

Well, based on what I see when racing Sophie, your move was 100% valid. There was a gap the other driver left and you took it. You really didnt do anything that would harm that other guys lap. Looks like a minor tap but the whole track was open for the other driver to accelerate out of the corner. I wouldn't have tried to ram you off the road for your move, but it looks like that other driver can't defend their position and they have to resort to ramming faster drivers off the track to remain competative.

Kazunori Yamauchi
I want to make GT7 a game in which you can enjoy a variety of cars lots of different ways, and if possible would like to try to avoid a situation where a player must mechanically keep replaying certain events over and over again
75+ races in about a month
Good job Kaz ! Everything is going according to plan 🤣

Despicable.

Your first move was a bit too much to my taste, and he may have thought that you dived bomb him. (which does not justify his attitude after).

Bought a second C4 Corvette to set up for the 550pp Clubman+ races (aka, my favorite races):

Immediately regretted it. This car is so cheated up at 550pp that even the cheatingest AI cars can't catch it. By the first big braking zone at HSR it's pushing 175mph and even at the tight confines of Tsukuba the car performs well. Still a fun af car though.

Ran all the 550 races in it.

Got a nitrous kit from my 3-star ticket 💩

Bought the Porsche 356 and Shelby GT350 from Legend Cars. Didn't see anything else I wanted there.

Had another go at Tokyo with the AMG GT Black Series, and tried to win without pitting. No problem, not the most enjoyable way of doing that race, finished in ~27min30. Don't know what I was thinking, crossed the line in the hairpin, may be I was going so slowly I felt asleep. Too bad for the hefty CRB 😓

Had an RA272 day today, so went to La Sarthe WTC700 for a bit of grinding. Unless you get heavy rain, no stops needed. Banked a good amount of credits and had good fun farming them.
Got a 4 star ticket for the daily mileage, 30K credits worth. Not the lowest, for a change.

Wow, not sure how you managed to have any tire life left after the 6th lap, but bravo!

After skipping yesterday as I was too tired, I went back to the grind. On the GTP account, it was time to grind Sarthe with the Dodge Viper Gr.4. As the 5-star marathon roulette didn't have any valid cash prizes on it, it instead gave me the Gr.1 version of the Hyundai VGT, which means I won't have to spend 1,000,000 Cr. on it.

On the Plus account, it was an interesting race at Sarthe with the Mazda Atenza Gr.4. It really isn't fast enough to do a 2-stop race. Fortunately, it is more than efficient enough to go 4 laps. Unfortunately, it rained at the end of lap 3, which caused me to come down for intermediates. The rain stopped before the end of lap 4, but I managed to make the intermediates last 4 laps, the last 2 on a dry lap, and held off a hard-charging Portila.

The...wait for it...24th 3-star Wheel of Despair of the year (out of 64 workout tickets) spat out the lowest-possible 5,000 Cr. (for the 7th time this year) on an all-cash wheel. The real pisser is it turned out I bought/widened the R33s on this account the other day instead of on the GTP account. I decided to hang onto them, and redo the purchases on the GTP account.

Ran Spa 1-hour in the BRZ. Tons of rain. Only 24 laps but still lapped the whole field. Took my winnings and bought the Ghia from the LCD and then finished buying the remaining Chevrolet cars I didn't already own. 276 cars in my garage. No repeats.

3 star wheel gave me a 100k gold bar, so that was nice.

At a snail pace to save fuel, you save tyres too, went through the finish line with 0.1 lap of fuel to go, and rear tyres beginning to need serious attention to avoid spins, but still manageable as long as you drive gently. I managed to stay 1st most of the time, controlling the distance with 2nd. Except for a lap or two where Gallo and Suswillo where really pushing and far in front of the rest of the pack, I let them pass knowing they were going to pit at some time. I managed to not let the gap become to wide before they went into the pit.
Gallo event pitted one last time at the end of lap 11, while he was closing on me and I did not have that much fuel to resist at full speed.

it instead gave me the Gr.1 version of the Hyundai VGT, which means I won't have to spend 1,000,000 Cr. on it.

Can't be lucky too many times :D

I could look at it one of two ways - the odds of getting a 3-star Wheel of Despair at my collector level are supposedly 30%, while the odds of getting only 5,000 Cr. from a particular 3-star are 40%. In my case, I've been getting 3-star Wheels of Despair 37.5% of the time, while they have been yielding 5,000 Cr. a bit less than 29.2% of the time. The overall 10.9% of the time I've picked up 5,000 Cr. is slightly better than the overall theoretical 12% chance.

As for the 100,000 Cr. from the 3-star, I've done that a couple times (the last on 1/27), and my very first Wheel netted that from the very first 1-star.

I did LeMans with the Aston Martin VGT. It rained pretty on lap 3 so I went to wets. On lap 5 I was like it's dry so I will went back to RH thinking there was still water on the track. So on lap 6 I spun out and crash a few times but I had aig enough lead that was big enough for me to wait at the finish line instead of slipping and siing another lap🤣. Got some McLaren 650s shocks from the wheel

Dragon Trail Seaside Reverse WTC800 in the Nismo GT500 (with a nice HKS livery I found), followed by a few custom races there. I like the flow of the fast downhill S bends. Shame there’s just that one actual event there, as far as I know. Shame the AI really struggle with that particular section, as well. Brake lights appearing out of nowhere. The biggest challenge in the race was avoiding an enormous rear-end collision.

Then did the Spa 1 hour in the same car. Two lots of rain but I seemed to find a good strategy so it was pretty easy to get 1st + CRB.

After that, tried Sardegna WTC800 in the F1500T-A. Very capable at 799PP on RH and easy 1:37s all day long driving casually.

Followed by the same race in a Senna livery MP4/4. Not quite as quick - you have to cripple it to get under 800PP, but still easily 1:39s.

Then felt that familiar ‘what’s left to do?’ feeling. I suppose I’ve still got a few golds to get on circuit experience. But that’s it for the day. PlayStation off, guitar time.

And custom races ain't an option for you ?
I am not very enthousiastic at the prospect of building my own races to compensate the lack of content in the game, and it is not the lame rewards that will help motivate me.

But I fully understand that some people enjoy the custom races. Some even go above and beyond spending millions and millions of credits to align the cars (or model of car) they want on the grid. I have enough trouble getting credits to get one model of some cars.

Had a fun race at Sarthe 700 in an RA272. Got rain incoming at the end of lap 2, checked the radar and saw lots of dark blue spots. Decided to pit early for IM's, dropping me back from 2nd to 12th, but it was a good decision. Rain came pooring down, while the rest of the field was still out on slicks. Next lap, I was out in the lead, leading by 1:30. Rain never stopped, but did get less intense. Still, I had a few aquaplaning situations on the long straights. Kept it on the track, though. Had a few big slides here and there, but I wasn't the only one. Even when taking it easy, my lead increased, but not enough to wait at the finish line till time expires, so I had to do another lap.
In the last 6 races in this class I had rain. Wouldn't mind a nice dry and sunny race next time.

Grinding away in maniac form (4 races per hour @ 10mins. per, for the next 8 hours) with all my top end Italian/German/American rides at TM/HCP.. & why ??.. stay tuned kids!.. it's gonna' have a happy ending.. LoL..

Well, today, I was in the middle of making a livery for a wide-bodied Abarth 500 when I suddenly noticed that the custom decals weren't showing up in their menu. Eventually, I ended up getting the "Something Went Wrong" error message when I tried to reset the game.

Turns out it was just a temporary internet connection failure and I was able to play the game again after a while. It did have me worried though.

Had a really nice session today, did a grind at LE-mans in the JAG F-TYPE GT3 tuned down to 699pp to compete in the LEmans belter and got a good 825k of Creds.

Tackled the GT3 Catalunya Online time trail and got an ok time and bronze trophy so far, gotta keep attacking it to improve.

Then I did some more CE on certain european tracks, almost close to getting the GOLD on the ALSACE track with the Renault RS.

But I did achieve to obtain a cool GOLD and 1million Cr on SPA. Even thought I fumbled (watch clip) and almost spun out at Turn 9 or 10, I still acheived GOLD, lol. I think SPA is now my go to circuit as I love it blend of fast corners and high speed racing. Will upload a video clip and more photos soon.

After obtaining credits I saw a yellow F50 and could not resist to buy it, I DID and got boosted from 47 to 49 car level collecting rank! SLapped some nice BBS LM's on the car and it looks peachy after a tune up!

Totally changed my grind race from Sardegna 800 to Sarthe 700. Not for the payout, but to race the stock Honda RA272 and the long straights allow me to take a sip of my beer and keep the race going.

Did about 7 or 8 races today, got good credits and a highly rewarding 3 star ticket, granting me a humongous 5,000 credits! Can you imagine the wealth? 5,000!! Did I see that right? 5,000??? YES!! 5,000 credits added to the pile. Inconceivable. PD sure knows how to reward their playerbase. Over the moon with this reward. I sure hope they won't go belly up some day, by dishing out these huge amounts of credits as rewards. If I get this every day, I might as well stop grinding, because these things add up!

Said no one....

On the Plus account, I decided to include the Aston Martin Vantage in the Grindy Double. The V12 GT3 made short work of Sardegna, even though I had traffic issues on my first two stints. The 25th 3-star Wheel of Despair of the year (and 76th since the 1.17 update dropped, which puts me over the expected number by the margin of rounding) gave the low-showing 10,000 Cr. (I guess I should be thankful it wasn't 5,000 Cr. again).

On the GTP account, I dug the Subaru BrZ GT300 out of storage and sent it to Sardegna. Despite mistake after mistake, I got a too-close win. The...wait for it...wait for it...3-star Wheel of Despair spat out a Tesla, which I hung onto for now.
