Nations cup. Nabbed myself a great result in the NSX!

I have started back up on GT7 and trying to get back in the swing of things. I am tackling the gold licenses as I never got them all and I cannot pass IA-9 it’s pretty soul crushing at the moment. I spent about 1 hour each night so far and I’ve made little progress.

I am thinking of getting a wheel too, just weighing my options as it costs a good bit

The current NSX uses its battery only for acceleration up to around 130km/h or so, its actually almost always full.
Ah, interesting, have yet to try it out.
Yes please! Otherwise it's relegated to the pile of unused metal. Or should I say, pixels?

Theres a couple of hybrids which are actually okay in the longer races. I often use the Lexus LF-LC GT VGT and it runs out of hybrid around lap 9/10 but still puts in 1:38/1:39 laps.

Nice one, thanks, I'll give that a shot.

EDIT: @lbpmog95 used your tune and it's a weapon! Actually got 1189hp...

Downforce set to 200kg F, 700kg R, gearbox set to 320kph (200mph), on RM tyres, with approx. 797 PP. By contrast, before I had the front downforce at 500kg and I couldn't get more than 750hp but 799.90 PP!

I set FM on 5, short shifted (slightly) to extend fuel range. I think the gearbox needs some adjustment, but straight out the box I was passing cars up to 10th by the end of lap 1.

I pitted on lap 5 for fuel only, filling to 92%, then pitted again lap 9 for tyres and to top up to 100% which gave me 6.1 laps range. Ran until the end and started lapping cars on lap 10. Lapped Beauvois in the final sector on lap 15, so lapped every other car! I made numerous mistakes, so I know this thing can run much faster overall, and I think with a bit of practice I'll be able to get it turning constant 1:32 laps!

This is by far my fastest time at Sardegna, but almost felt too easy! I'll be running it again to see what sort of time I can get in the end...
Alright, will send you a PM later today! But it looks like you already found a killer tune regardless :D

Thanks! Always good to compare and contrast multiple tunes, so I'm happy to try out what you've got!

I was struggling with CE at Laguna Seca, had only golded the firs sector, silvered the second then bronze for 3rd and full lap. I watched a video from Kireth who make it look so easy. Tried to apply the hints with more or less success, painfully managed to get gold for 2nd sector, really struggled to get gold on 3rd, and I am lightyears away to get gold on the full lap, I can't event get to silver. 60km later I've stopped, I have enough.

It gave me a 3 stars ticket for the daily marathon, on the WOD : 3 lowest piles of cash + 2 cars, ok, let's go for the 5k change............ and no ! Got the Viper SRT 10 '06 🤯

It's doable to get all golds on controller - not sure if you're on PS4 or 5 but I use the right analogue stick for accelerating and braking, I find it easier to moderate throttle and get better corner exits. Watching the demonstrations really help too.

There you go, can't say it was my work since it's something I found on the internet and just tweaked a bit because it was wheeling on Sardegna's main straight, but it works anyways, race is very easy. FM6, shortshift all gears but 5th (or you'll end up in 6th with turbo lag annoying you), two stops and you're done.

Did 3 rounds of Tokyo to finally be able to buy the Mp4/4.

Now I am waiting the availability or invite needed to nail the last extra cafés menus.

I am particularly waiting for the NSX 92 which I need for two menus.

And I think I may wait a loooong time before getting a Bugatti invite. Better get my 3M Cr ready when the day comes...
While waiting for that I think I'll be doing more sport mode, at least to reach the 50 races needed for one trophy.

Did a run at Sardegna in my 330 P4, for the daily mileage and round up credits to 25mln. I have no incentive to buy nice cars I can't use much in races, unless I downgrade them. And even less incentive to buy consumer cars, just to complete collections. Useless to just buy them and let them gathering dust.
Got the Escudo engine from a ticket, but no Escudo to install it in. Another waste of a ticket for now.

Did my daily grind at le man, six star ticket for half a million credits. Bought the Porsche strasserwhatever. Leaves me with 9 cars left to buy, all of which cost 14 million and up 🥺

Today I finally finished buying 1 of each car in Brand Central 417/459 Collected and close to 600 cars in the garage so many different cars to drive and test is almost a little overwhelming.

The Ferrari LaFerrari, Ferrari FXXK, Ferrari Enzo, and the Porsche Carrera GT. not included.

And that's my day today.

Why install it into a car it's already in?
It's for the Evo X.
Oh bugger. I misread the description and thought it was for the Escudo.
Anyway, it's a wasted ticket for me. Not intended to buy an Evo X, just to use a gifted engine in and then resell with a loss.
I'd gladly sell parts and engines I don't want, but that option was forgotten by PD.

I have been grinding to get the honda menu. Getting minimum prizes for daily’s. Thought the honda menu gave a big ticket. Gives a car I will never drive.

One thing I haven’t been doing, getting an engine swap.

The reason engine swaps are so valuable and lucrative is they can transform something like the Evo X into a Sardegna grind machine. You should already have one from the Cafe menus, so you can drop the engine in, give it a tune and take it for a blast around Sardegna with 1000hp and decent fuel efficiency!!

I've been getting back into Circuit Experiences lately, and in the last few nights I've done Suzuka, Kyoto (both) and last night I did Trial Mountain.

I eventually got to about 0.5s off All Golds, and did a faster lap - I was so certain that I was over 0.5s ahead of the ghost that I celebrated with a fist-clench as I crossed the line, only to discover that I missed the gold by 0.060s :ouch: However, I did manage to beat the Gold time soon after by around 0.5s, though I still feel like a bit of an idiot for the premature smug celebration!

Thing is, I already have a Sardegna grind machine, the on-rails Lexus SC430 GT500, RM's, FM2, 1 stop race done in 25:40'ish.
In fact, there are many cars that can win Sardegna 800 more than comfortable, without major upgrades.

While that's true, you stated that having the Escudo engine was useless - my point is it has a use, and it's something to break from the monotony of using the same generic grind cars and having something else to drive. I mean, I can run Sardegna over and over in the Escudo in 24:30-ish race time, but I don't actually enjoy driving it much, so I'd much rather take something else and experiment with different cars (which I think is paramount when grinding for credits on one race).

Took the Ferrari Pinin Farina around Lago Maggiore. It's wild how easily it goes up on two wheels around a corner. Reminds me of classic 50's-60's movie car chases. They really need to bring Rome back. 😢

I can see where you're coming from. I have tried other cars for that grind, but come back to the Lexus time and time again. Why? Well, I like using it the most for this grind. It's trouble free, drives like a charm and I love the sound of it.
The Escudo engine may have use for some, but for me it hasn't.
Maybe I should have added that to my post earlier.

How many times have you completed that same race?
