What did you do in GT7 today?

Ran a 52 lapper at Suzuka with my year 2000 JGTC grid. Surprisingly, heavy damage and rain provided the road cars with an equalized playing field. Neither the Viper nor the Diablo finished last.

Fuel and tyre wear were set to x2 so I figured they'd be lapped multiple times... But, nope! Great fun.

Just did the st croix 800 event with the new NSX stock, hard difficulty. Grady was first with 25m13 total, and I was 22s behind. I was saving fuel a bit to pit on lap 5, and kept the old hards on.

Anyone had more skill/luck with this event in a stock NSX on hard difficulty?

Let's see...

Got my butt handed to me at Interlagos Race B 6 races in a row, uploaded a video clip of my NSX Gr.4 getting hammered in one of those races, shared a few PSP Ridgeracer liveries, put down a Le Mans TT lap of 3:46.880 in the F1 GTR, sold several million credits worth of duplicate prize cars, and tried to summon an HSV by snapping pics of 'naked' tribute liveries.

Today was nice session chugging out some Cool racing and TTrials to conquer! lol
  • Logged on and tackled the new TT with the Mclaren F1 GTR and managed to get a Smooth silver time.
  • Tried to improve the CIVIC TT but didnt quite manage that.
  • Then took out my Bugatti VGT in the last weekly challngge race at Nurburgring Sprint track. It was handful to say the least.
  • Quickly set out the Volvo race in the weekly challenge and tuned a V40 up and give it funky livery.
  • Did the V40 race at RBR and then set out to tackle Sport mode.
  • I entered the Daily Race A and set a 2nd quickest time at Daytona in the MX5. ok great onto the race!
  • I started the race in 2nd place and was chasing a guy form Miami vice lol, then manged to catch him on lap 3 of the race and he got a half minute penalty on the final chicane and I just had a photo finish as I just pipped him to the finsh iine. Fun race and glad to get the victory!!!
Onto more Daily races tomo and getting preppped for the toyota Round 3 at Le-mans fever time!

  • Since it was not a BMW, I entered the race with a stock car and that was it.
  • Touring Car 700 : I improved my record by 10 seconds. car ferrari 330
  • As we are used to, the daily reward from the wheel is 10,000.
  • Once again, we look at the legendary car section with envy. What is 100 million, for all cars.
  • at the end of the day. We sleep again, hoping for B-spec mode to arrive.

I took the 240 to Le Mans again. It is genuinely my favourite car for the WTC700 now, as the performance is very close to the AI. The car is also well balanced and easy to drive, the only problem is a bit of oversteer on corner exit but that can be solved by selecting a higher gear.

Today for the first time since buying the game last month i won the Le Mans 30 min race without having to pit for tire change.
A small drizzle came down during lap 3 and an even smaller one during lap 4, i did have to pit to refuel tho.

I have had some crazy monsoon like stuff happening in earlier races where i couldn´t stay on the track at all, and also had one race where it rained for 3 laps straight.

Doing my Le Mans grind with the tiny Bulgari.

I see the first person using Bulgari.

Is that car that good?

I was watching youtube videos on what car to go for at tokyo expressway WTC 600 and this car could be easily tuned down for the 600 race and also used in the Le mans 30 min race.

I hope i managed to link to the video correctly, i really like this car but since i am fairly new to GT7 i haven´t explored all different options yet.

Bulgari setup video.

Could you please share your tune? That looks like fun!

She looks a bit wobbly under braking too.

I did the Spa 800 1h race with the detuned Mazda 787b and had almost no rain so I managed to finish the race with only one pitstop in lap 20. That made me think if it would be possible to do this race with no pitstop if you did some fuel management? Has anybody tried this before?

I bought a 89 & 03 M3 from the used car. I almost finished the LeMans with the Castrol NSX but didn't quite finish due to sleep 🤣

I rented a Mac F1, went to LeMans in it 3:55 set for the moment, I'm unfamiliar with the car and I'm sure it's entirely possible to get a silver with a few more laps, just need an idea of the speed its happy carrying through the bends. Donked off the Laguna Sec USA FR weekly in an AC Cobra on comfort tyres to get my 100k and a 3* ticket that gave me 10k. I love the Cobra it's crazy even unmolested.

On the GTP account, I took my measly 250,000 Cr. from the Nurburgring time trial, then tortured a rental Civic around Tsukuba to the tune of a sub-1:12.6 (a safe gold time) and a rental F1 GTR around Sarthe to the tune of a sub-3:43.8 (a safe silver time). That netted a no-cash 4-star Wheel of Despair puking out a worthless invite.

That left the Weekly Challenges:
  • Laguna Seca American FR Challenge in 3:31 with a stock 1989 Chevrolet Corvette
  • Daytona Pickup Truck Race in 5:40 with a Toyota Tundra with a full-custom (non-racing) transmission
  • St. Croix Turbo Sports Cars in 10:11 with a stock 2017 Honda NSX (blocking the front-running Maserati MC20 after making a last-corner pass)
  • Nurburgring WTC 600 in 11:24 with the same stock 2017 Honda NSX (with another fine last-corner pass)
  • Fuji Special Event in an "unclean" 17:07 with a stock Chevrolet Corvette Gr.3 (after failing miserably with the older JTGC cars)
On the Plus account, I blitzed the Weekly Challenges:
  • Laguna Seca in 3:15 with a stock 2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 ZR1
  • Daytona Pickup Truck Race in 5:28 with a Toyota Tundra tuned up to 444 PP
  • St. Croix Turbo Sports Cars in 10:00 with a stock Amuse S2000 (and a hotrod Giulia chasing me down quickly)
  • Nurburgring WTC 600 in 11:17 with a stock Toyota Celica Rally Car
  • Fuji Special Event in 14:53 with a stock SF19 Honda
Naturally, it was yet another 3-star ticket from the marathon. Unusually, I got the most-valuable of the 3 cars showing (and the most-valuable legal prize, as the 2 cash prizes were above the 100,000-Cr. maximum), the Nissan Z Performance, with a Subaru BRZ (of unknown vintage) and a Volvo V40 also on the wheel. I hung onto it for tuning purposes.

I finally got my hands on a PSVR 2, so I spent today doing my first few races. Absolutely incredible. The immersion is off the scale! I did the Le Mans 700 race with the Ferrari P4. The depth of field. The lighting. The rain. Just incredible. I'm really loving the experience so far.

I’m running a similar race at Fuji. 44 laps, 3x fuel, 5x tyre. The Viper and the Diablo are consuming fuel 1,5 times the other cars. Both are just below 500hp. So they pit an additional time, resulting finishing last. How did you manage to get them have a descent consumption?
