Bought an F40 and now waiting on the GTO 🤩 ran Le Mans twice in the R8 GT3 with some substantial rain and it came down both times to me not having to pit for a further splash and dash because I could save fuel on FM6 and TCS5 the last four laps. It was pretty exciting I loved it.

The GTO is now available for 3.5M.👍

Tried the Spa TT in the Ferrari 458, first on a hand controller during my lunch break, which got me into bronze, then later I tried again with the wheel. Got pretty almost exactly 1 second inside silver, which should be safe. An extremely scientific survey of the leaderboard (I scrolled down it quickly and glanced at the cars) revealed that the NSX is a popular choice amongst the fast lappers so I had a go in that. I was much faster through the Eau Rouge and Raidillon in the NSX but I couldn't keep that gap over the rest of the lap and ultimately couldn't beat my 458 ghost.

Completed the weekly challenges. Only managed 3rd in the 356 challenge but it's enough to hit target so I didn't try again. Then went and got gold in masters national B (I think) license test 4 or 5. I forget which one. I'm working through them. Slowly...

That was all last night. Tonight I just grinded. Or ground. Or did grinding.

took my new BMW GT3 around Sardegna - won by 10 seconds only because i had to short pit on lap 11 to make sure i didnt run out of fuel. Although i noticed afterwards I was running the High RPM turbo - I'll downgrade to the Medium RPM tomorrow.

I noticed the BMW has a good bit of understeer - is that common with this car or is it just me ?

Did the lap time challenges.
Road Atlanta 1:04:3xx
Red Bull Ring (short) 1:02:1xx ( im pretty proud of that one. )

All good things, had some great battlign racing at Watking ol Glennnyyy!

Let the pictures do the talking this time.....hehe!

Did some data collection so I could try out the Kruskal-Wallis test for some insights. This particular session was meant to see how different the setups needed to be before you would start getting noteworthy differences in lap time. SciPy was going to be doing most of the heavy lifting, which is so much faster than trying to do it all by hand.

First goal was to collect enough data to reject H0 (There is no statistically significant difference in medians). To do that I needed get a P-Value under 0.05.

I checked p-values after every pair of ten laps.

There are some features I want to add to this file, but uh... baby steps.

Combo
Car: Audi VGT
Tire: Racing Medium
Circuit: Blue Moon Bay - Infield B Reverse
Time of Day: 10:00 AM
Laps Completed: 154
Wind: 9.8 ft/s, South-West

Setups and Laptimes
The only thing I wanted to play with here was the natural frequency. Adjusting different downforce levels/ratios will be something for later.

All setups use 1650 Lv. Downforce at ~44F:56R.
Setup NameNatural Frequency (F)Natural Frequency (R)MeanMedianComments
Default4.00 Hz4.00 Hz43.098s43.067
Test-1650.14.23 Hz4.13 HzN/AN/A(Lap-times replaced due to increasing P-Value; NDefault = 30*, NTest = 30)
Test-1650.24.43 Hz4.29 Hz43.153s (+0.055s)43.194s (+0.127s)(NDefault = 63*, NTest = 61)
* in the interest of time, I reused the data I had for the default setup.

...Had some interesting times on the board.

Pretty tired now! T

Finally got around to finishing the X2019 Nations and Jimny cafe menus, along with some road car events on Yamagiwa & Tsukuba. Did these before I started the car testing.

On the GTP account, I redid a couple more Watkins Glen races. I ultimately settled on the 2006 Ford GT for the American Clubman Cup, getting a fair-play stock win in 10:32. I kept on catching traffic, including spinners, in the wrong place in the WTC 800 race, though I eventually got a clean 1-stop (I probably should have changed the tires) win in 18:53 with a stock Chevrolet Corvette Gr.3.

The no-cash 4-star ticket gave me a Shelby engine. I put that in a waiting Ford Mustang Boss 429.

On the Plus account, I ground Sardegna poorly in the 2008 Nissan GT-R GT500. The good news - I got a 4-star Wheel of Despair. The bad - I got a racing muffler off a no-cash Wheel.

I tried the Supra at Sardegna but it didn't feel right and I wasn't in the mood to tune it so I went to the Castrol NSX. Same thing with that car. It felt off so I tried the Nissan Group C car. Got 5k cr from a ⭐⭐⭐🎫

For the first time since buying the game in may i tried the WTC 800 at SPA and i loved it. I saved Nurburgring and SPA for last of all the 800 races because i felt those were the BIG races to clear.

I hooked up my big bulky head phones to the tv via bluetooth and boy what an improvement sound vice.

I could hear every drop of rain and it felt very immersive, the race itself was really interesting, it started raining at lap 7-8 and kept raining for several laps while the night cloaked us in darkness, driving with the headlights lighting up the track was so damn fun.

I used my beloved Porsche 962C and won with only one pitstop to put on itermediates during the rain and fill the tank up, what a nice car to ride, so now i have done all the WTC 800 races and i will go back to this one for sure. SPA is awesome.

The next big challenge will be the GR1 races, buckle up!

I wish we could get to drive on Le Mans with this time lapse thing since that is the most known 24 hour race.

On the GTP account, I grabbed 1,000,000 Cr. from the Spa time trial, then beat a rental Mercedes around Willow Springs for a solid silver time of under 1:36.5. I then finished the redo of the Watkins Glen races, the Super Formula in 17:44 in a stock SF23 Honda (pitting on lap 6 for tires, getting the win only after struggling to get through traffic) and the Clubman Cup Plus in 8:11 in a Toyota GR Corolla with a tune adapted from Praiano (a little less power, no widebody, and carbon brakes being the differences).

It was good news on the roulette - it was a 5-star, and the Mazda 787B engine it gave me on a no-cash Wheel found an immediate home in the Mazda Atenza Gr.3 Road Car.

On the Plus account, it was Sarthe day in the BMW M3 GT. I came within 11 seconds of making it an 8-lap run. My "reward" was yet another 3-star Wheel of Despair (the 9th of the last 12) and the low-showing/lowest-possible 5,000 Cr.

-Bought the Lamborghini Miura and drove it around Dragon Trail Gardens
-Drove my Porsche 911 GT3 (996) around Dragon Trail Gardens
-Did the new time trial in the Mercedes 300 SL on Willow Springs

Did the weekly challenges, got enough money to buy the Muira finally. Did some time trial stuff which will net me a handsome million next Thursday which will help depending on if we get the update, fingers crossed.
