Only in Gran Turismo can you beat GT4-style race cars at Le Mans with a kei car. My 2&4-swapped, fully-upgraded S660 managed to win today by a whole minute on the same set of racing mediums (barely any rain in this one…how lucky).

Fuel map set to 1, half shifting, and the fuel stop made after lap 4 (I did run out right as I approached the pit entry lmao). Not as fast as much of the stuff I use, but a very interesting and high-revving car to use.

It was time trial day on the GTP account. After taking my disappointing 250,000 Cr. from the Catalunya dirt nap, I rented a Honda S2000 and somehow laid down a sub-2:17.7 lap.

The Red Bull Ring time was still safely in the silver category, and I hadn't hit 26.2 miles, so I decided to try the GTWS time trial at Nurburgring despite the Red Bull X2019 not liking my TGT II wheel. If it were a normal time trial, the 6:47.2 time would be barely bronze, but since it is a special time trial, it will do.

The 4-star ticket gave me a 1998 Integra engine, so I put it in a waiting 1993 Civic. Stock, it seems an underwhelming swap.

-Bought the Mazda RX Vision and drove it around Trial Mountain
-Drove the Mazda RX-7 FD around the High Speed Ring
-Drove the Honda S2000 around Trial Mountain
-Drove the Pennzoil GT-R around Grand Valley
-Drove the Ford GT LM Spec II around Laguna Seca
-Bought the SLS AMG and drove it around Nurburgring GP
-Drove the Corvette C7 around Daytona Road
-Tuned one of my Jaguar E-Types and drove it around Dragon Trail Seaside

Took a C8 to Spa to work out the tuning for the 1 hour race. GM needs to stay away from mid rear engine vehicles. I think I can dial it in, but this car has a nasty personality. It is fast and it's nice inside the VR cockpit. I ran Spa with a 787B, Tokyo East with the Bvlgari, Sardegna with the F1500, and finished the weeklies. I also put up a qualifying time at Spa for Race C and on the RBR time trial before it closed. 7 million to go to get the W136. I have cars I can sell if it goes limited stock.
After that it's back to Majora's Mask for a while.

did the most complicated customization i've done so far. behold, the koronemobile.

  • Fuji Special Event in 10:00 with a stock Mazda Roadster Touring Car
  • Daytona WTC 800 in 18:31 with a stock Audi R8 LMS Evo
The parts Wheel of Despair shafted me with yet another camshaft S for the DMC DeLorean S2, the car ticket gave a Dodge Tomahawk GTS-R (sold for 504,230 Cr.) and the 5-star workout Wheel of Despair gave the 2nd-low-showing/lowest-legal 100,000 Cr.

On the Plus account, the overpowering commenced:
  • Lake Maggiore in 1:47 with a stock 2017 Nissan GT-R NISMO
  • Trial Mountain in 4:28 with the same GT-R NISMO
  • Laguna Seca in 7:52 with a stock Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport
  • Fuji in 9:52 with a Mazda Roadster Touring Car tuned to 584 PP
  • Daytona in 18:08 with a stock Mercedes-Benz CLK-LM
The parts Wheel of Despair gave a duplicate stage 5 weight reduction, the car ticket gave a Jaguar VGT Roadster (sold for 663,140 Cr.), and the 4-star workout ticket gave a Mercedes-AMG GT R (hung onto for tuning purposes).

I completed the My First Gran Turismo 100% and got my PASSPORT and all gift cars in GT7.

Full LiveStream:

The Ending Video is the best GT7 ad I have seen and it is a real shame it is only at the very end. It should be much early on to entice. It is what most everyone should be seeing, and the video still didn't cover the Missions.

I drove the hell out of my ‘92 911 (964) today. I never gave 964s much thought at all over the years until GT7. It’s such a great overall package without changing a thing, I absolutely love it. I’d buy one in the real world today if I could.
Ok, enough of the love fest already, back to driving - cheers!

Ran the high payout races at Spa and Sardegna. The F1500 ran perfect. I looked at the W196, then changed my drawers when I realized I was still short, so I dropped an MTX and bought it.
I also downloaded the demo.
My PS5 started with the PS1 intro screen, very cool!

-Bought the Lamborghini Huracan GT3, put a livery on it and drove it around Suzuka
-Drove the Red Bull X2019 around Willow Springs
-Drove the Red Bull X2014 around St Croix A... For one lap because the track is awful
-Drove the Red Bull X2014 around Le Mans and then Watkins Glen
-Drove my standard Jimny Sierra around the Nurburgring... For one laps because I was falling asleep
-Drove my standard R34 GT-R around Spa

Had a nice short session after watching the Nations Cup on my PS5 for the freebie prizes hehe.

Bought and used my FERRARI invite and bought a lovely Maroon Enzo! Very nice car when lightened and almost 1:1 power to weight ratio when tuned! Only subtle cosmetic mods too.

Did a Seed lap and hit 275mph int he Enzo and a good time overall. Also clocked a fast 3.32min lap on SSXR in my tuned GTR!

Also did some TT and impoved my Maggiore time.

Won a lovely RS.01 Renualt in the 5star roulette.

Won another Ferrari invite which was very lucky shame I can't transfer it to anyone lol.

Took some snaps at Scapes in the Enzo.

Onto more good racing with new daily races tomo!

I really just did two laps of the X2019 @ Nurburgring 24h time trial. I didn't break into silver range but I did improve my time by about ten seconds, so now I'm in the top 7k times. Plus I'm quite sure that the bronze prize is doubled for this particular one, so I'm very much content with getting 500k credits. For those two laps, I got a three-star ticket that netted me a mere 5k credits but I really don't care.

Meanwhile, I'm a bit split on how I should make liveries for the cars I've already tuned, or if should even bother at all. After all, they're already gonna look different from a car that's factory-stock by the custom wheels alone, not to mention other potential parts like potentially removing the front license plate. This, by the way, is assuming that both cars were bought in the same factory color, like if a car only has one option such as the original Alpine A110 or the Abarth 595 SS. I certainly would admit that I could be overthinking this - though I will say that my spare Volvo 240 SE Estate that originally was bought in red looks quite stunning with various aero parts installed and re-painted black, plus a livery that gives it a somewhat grass-roots racer look. I'd essentially say the same of my engine-swapped Honda S800 that I re-painted Tahitian Green Pearl; that one's especially a riot to drive, even when de-tuned to about 550 PP and not even 200 HP. Fun stuff!

Many VR races at Le Mans this weekend on my new PS5 pro.

1 hour races with time multiplier set to x24 and random weather.

Basically only drove the GR.1 Porsche the entire weekend.

Great fun.

Sorry for the crappy photo. Started converting my IROC 930s to 964s, just drives so much better! That lift off snap oversteer is just murder in 930s, frustrating. The color matched wheels is a nod to the 964 speedster. Need this car to show again in the UCD to finish my grid, the waiting begins… 🙄😁

Did 3 of the weekly races on my main and alt account. Got the extra 300k, and got my daily workout miles for both accounts. Main account gave me 4-star with carbon brakes for Peugeot RCZ Road Car  My alt account gave me another 4-star, but this time a bright green S15 Silvia Touring Car. Not sure if I'll keep it... Gonna run some hot laps with it to see how it drives before I decide.
