What did you do in GT7 today?

Got License iB and did some circuit experience and give a go at time trialing green hell with the Tom's (crashed at least once so... poor lap time).

Today I put down 450 miles and bought an Enzo Ferrari. Most of that 450 was running H.S. Ring in the Gr.4 Toyota to gather the remaining 1.5m to buy the Enzo. I got side tracked on some 600\700pp races in the Evo X and C7 ZR1. Ran some Ferrari and GT-R events as they pay a bit and break up the grind at the ring. I now have bought the F40, F50, Enzo, and La Ferrari. I just need 3.6m for the FXX K before the 19th when the invite runs out.
I’m on that same wave as you but I’m not getting the Enzo🥺 I got the LaFerrari and already have enough for the FXXK and the F40… I’m currently saving for that Porsche in the legendary lot!

Finished all the missions with gold. Exept for the one on Spa-Francorchamps that is bugged at the moment. (Soft race tires on a wet circuit.)

I'm waiting for them to fix the drift challenges. I did the first one, but the rest are bonkers difficult. Kinda like the Tokyo & Nordschliefe CE challenges.

I'm waiting for them to fix the save corruption issues so many people are facing. With absolutely no way for the player to solve the problem, I'd rather not be next.

First, ran up about 150 miles to complete the Maggiore circuit experience. Doing the individual parts of the track wasn't that hard, but for some reason I just couldn't string them all together and kept falling about a half second short of gold on the full lap. I'm still not entirely sure where I was losing that time at, but I got it done anyway.

Then I used the roulette ticket I earned during all that and won a nitrous system for the RE Amemiya RX-7. That's the second time I've won a nitrous upgrade off them!

And finally went and bought a Maserati to use for the Touring Car 600 championship, just for a change of pace. If it ends up being a dud I have a couple others that will easily burn through it without issue, so may as well experiment a little.

-Won the WTC 700 Championship
-Bought a Ferrari F40 and drove it on Monza
-Bought a Honda S2000, modified it and drove it on Willow Springs Big Willow
-Bought an Evo V, modified it and drove it on Fuji Speedway GP
-Modified an A90 Supra

Spent about 2 hours on license S-7 to end up being just over a 10th from gold. At least a wheel is a lot more difficult to throw across the room than a controller!
I'm really struggling for some reason, tried TC5, TC1 and battled a bit with TC0. My ghost just laughs at me!

Got a slightly less crapy lap time in green hell with the Tom's

Started license iA, wasn't able to get bronze with the rally part (an ongoing issue with wrong tyres apparently)

Got a 3 stars ticket for my workout and it ended up giving me a nice Mazda RX8 😃

Today, I grinded credits to buy the Porsche 911 GT1. After that, I decided to go for the 10,000 points trophy for drifting, and got it with a Levin that only had Comfort Hards, steering angle kit, and a hydraulic handbrake. Then ran everybody's favorite rally course to grind more credits again, because I wanted to buy the Evo IV, V, and an older Type R Integra that was in the used car lot. After that, I had enough credits over to buy an LSD for my Levin again, which made drifting a little easier. Tomorrow I grind credits again, because I'm thinking about that Jaaaaaaag, that's in the Legends shop, but 12 million credits will take some time, since I only really play for like an hour or two after work.

Just bought the S2000 today. Kinda sad it costed 100,000 credits though.

Also Clubman Cup+ is hard for me. That red Mini goes like it's not restricted by PP limit.

finished cafe
got a huayra (happy i didn't buy from invitation)
got a mclaren vgt from the 6 star ticket
grinded a bit for the fxx from ferrari invite (300k left to go)

Today I discovered that Grand Turismo advertising claims that selling of cars is, once again, an integral part of the game.

”With the reintroduction of the legendary GT Simulation Mode, buy, tune, race and sell your way through a rewarding solo campaign as you unlock new cars and challenges. And if you love going head-to-head with others, hone your skills and compete in the GT Sport Mode.”

Today started off realy badly , like every car I drove had snap Oversteer , I was like " WTF ? have they patched this thing or what , or am I fick "

After a frustrating hour or so I calmed down checked in case there had been a sneaky update just to tick me off , but nope hmm ok .

Did a few runs on High Speed Ring ( the amount of miles of done makes this easy I just follow the groove my car has made ) and yet even my trusty GR4 Corvette felt strange .

Backed out of my PS4 Pro had a think , got the nod from me dog as she wanted to go outside and pee on something .

A while later looked at my previous notes from Past GT Games and decided to say ok lets try this setup .

Well I couldn't believe the difference , now my cars where actually doing as I bid , even going around corners , but best of all my strange way of driving was working . Basically I trail brake always have always will .

So after changing settings on a few cars todays tally was...............

828 Driven Miles

My CR now stands at just over 16 million so a 4 Million increase from yesterday .

All in all a better end to what I thought was going to be a " i'm going to throw this wheel / ps4 out of the nearest window moment "

Time for some beer .

Finished the Café books clearing the GT Tour 700 with my trusted Camaro ZL1 1LE against all those GR3 cars winning gold. Quite happy with that, but Nürnburgring in the dark was no fun. :)

I'm starting to get stressed, I couldn't even get 1st place in most of the cafe races although I didn't mod any of my cars. Do you guys used stock cars or do you tuned them? I'm trying to finish the cafe stuff with minimal mods as possible but it seems like I couldn't. I'm on Mustangs cafe book now, only have the Camaro as the US car and it's not as fast as the AI.

Just realised I suck at this game lol

Only thing I've found that is needed, if you are struggling, is to use Racing Soft. This will put you way ahead of the competition. Don't need any other mods.

Yeah but I don't wanna blow them all away. Racing Soft is too much I think.

Even then, using Sports Hard barely help lol. Guess I just need to "git gud". This is fun for me though so I'm taking it slowly.

Best default mod for efficiency (a bit costly though and you need to have access to those tyres i.e a minimum collector level)

No surprise or big deal to most of you, but I've always played Turismo with a controller, even though I own one of those old blue Logitech Turismo wheels. (I never had proper room to set it up). Anyways, I find GT7 to work really well with the controller BUT.... I just bought a new wheel and mounting rack, took it for it's first test drive yesterday and shook my head in pure disbelief for all of the finer acceleration, braking and steering I'd been selling myself short on. This is a game changer. No wonder you're all WAY faster on racing leaderboards lol. Wow.

So today I did a few more cafe events. Have 15 to go. Tuned and body modded an Alfa. Working on getting comfortable with the whole "push way harder than you're used to" thing with the new wheel, as well as using both feet.
