Im pretty crap so its easy for me. 
Grindings always done on easy,other races i start on easy then try another difficulty,but most of the time i stick with easy.

I started on hard and never changed. It feels so easy on hard sometimes. AI is a joke, weather is the challenge for me so I do most Spa 1 hour or Le Mans 30 minutes and hope for a surprise with rain.
I need a better AI, who is not pre-programmed to stop twice in a ten lap race after lap four and nine.

Hard on events. But if I need a stress-free grind at Lemans 700pp, drop to easy and I'll use a horrible handling car like the 250 GTO/DB3S among others to recoup some of those 5M to 20M credits spent.

While I'm in no way making excuses for PD and its apparent lack of races, nor the increase of credit payouts for increased difficulty (which is understandable if I'm being honest... but still).
However, after reading a lot of responses from people, it becomes clearer why so many people are bored with the single player content this game does have.
I consider myself a high-A/Low A+ player when I do sport mode, and there's still quite a few races that I have trouble with in single player mode if I use proper BOP'd cars with some light tuning. I still haven't won the clubman+ race at Tsukuba. I'm having issues with the WTC 800 race at RBR. The Fuji 800pp race. Shoot, now that I think of it... all of the 🌶🌶🌶 races are tough; not a whole lot of room for mistakes, especially since we're forced to come through the pack.
I do get the allure of lowering the difficulty for the sake of grinding. Hopefully this game really starts hitting it stride soon

Easy and normal is a bit too slow for me but hard has seen me run the same race a few times in successively better cars to eventually win it. Kinda refreshing after the last few games.
