Well, I am sure PD will include private lobbies in full GT5, but what doy you expect from lobbies in terms of options?

I`d like to choose:

Cars and tires
Race lenght
Pit stops.....

...ideas?

All that and finally some good clean racing against you guys on here :)
Instead of it being pot-luck who you race against.

Not only that, I would also like to see if you wanna Race with friends or not, so making the server private.

Adding AI cars, Lets say you wanna Ride with 4 friends... and you wanna see more cars, so you can add AI drivers

Having Various restrictions, No Nos, Power range (example, cars from 300-350 HP), power restriction, Weight Limits, stock or custom cars.

Thats all I can think of at this moment

I expect (demand, LOL) the ability to turn OFF the rubber-banding mechanism.

That would be fine if PD either:

1) Added a qualifying option.
2) Did away with rolling starts..
3) Or at least tightened the pack up some more on rolling starts.

I would like to see them make penalties optional and have grass from gt4, meaning when you run off track you dont run into a sandtrap and cant get out of it. Also need, NEED the option to kick/ban people.

- Whoever hosts the race should be given the option to race or to watch and administrate it by giving black flags etc etc

- Available cars

- Ability to skip session or go back a session

- Practice session Length in minutes

- Qualifying session length in minutes

- Available tire compounds

- Tire Wear 1x 2x 3x 4x 5x

- Fuel Wear 1x 2x 3x 4x 5x

- Race length timed 5 minutes up to 24 hours or laps

- damage and weather options if it makes it into GT5

I agree with #1 and #3. For #2, I say it should be an option of a standing or a rolling start.

:idea:Can you imagine doing a race on the Daytona Road course and having a standing start take place on the straight between Turn 4 and the tri-oval?;)

PD can just copy everything from F1:CE game and that is it. Only addition should be to turn-on/off damn catch-up.

F1: CE do Private Races lobbying spot-on-perfect.

EDITED: And give a chat option, that one is The Must.

I don't know F1:CE (still playing with good old PS2), but I think TRD 3 online options are excellent.

There, the host can define almost everything (cars, tracks, number of laps, rules, flags, penalties, AI cars on/off, etc.) and has the power to kick and ban - even in the midlle of a race - any unwanted "guest" to his session.

Plus, we talk to each other (using headsets) wich is great and avoids some misunderstandings that can ruin the confidence between players and, ultimately, the race itself.

anything really, as long as you can play "private" with "competent" drivers, it will be a good start :)

;) That's why I put #3 in just for Daytona and any tracks similar that might make it to the full game

Ability to change start position of each driver (car) to avoid losing time on qualifying session

Depends if and how they implement qualifying.

Don't you have the track to yourself for a set amount of time in F1:CE?

I think it would be really sick to be able to view other drivers (if we are able to select suits, helmets/gear) and there vehicles while waiting and conversating.
