Specifically, which ones are you most excited about and which ones would you have liked to be included?

I'm very excited about the following:

BMW M635CSi
Audi RS2 Avant (finally!)
Ferrari 599 GTO
Ruf RT 12 R
Koenigsegg Agera
Aston Martin V8 Vantage '77
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento
McLaren F1 '93
Pagani Zonda Cinque
Peugeot 107
VW Golf Mk 3 GTi
Noble M600

I do wish they had added some new Mercs though and perhaps some more Audis like the S3 or even RS3. Good to see new additions like Suzuki, GMC and Tesla though.

They've added some really cool performance cars of course, but I'm excited to have more modest, starter cars like the Vauxhall Agila and the Citroen/Peugeot/Toyota triplets.

I'm actually surprised they didn't add the new Audi A1.

EDIT: The new M5 is going to be pretty fun to knock off its perch with a well driven E60 V10. :D. 2nd gear is pretty tame for a car with so much power. From 30mph to the redline it doesn't exactly like pulling from that low.

But there will probably come like 50+ dlc cars all togeather i guess in the future..who knows

Sesto, Cinque, Agera, and the H1 Alpha are the first to come to mind for new cars I'm excited about.

That's all I can think of right now. I'm on break at work so I'll put more thought into it later.

Well...

BMW M635CSi - I like
Audi RS2 Avant (finally!) - I like
Ferrari 599 GTO - I dont care
Ruf RT 12 R - I like
Koenigsegg Agera - I dont care
Aston Martin V8 Vantage '77 - I dont care
Lamborghini Sesto Elemento - I dont care
McLaren F1 '93 - I dont care

Well, im a street tuner, i dont care about those italian supercars.

Yeah, I'm the other way round. I much prefer Italian supercars and exotics to tuners. I know there are people who argue that Japanese tuners (like Mine's for example) can get their cars to be just as quick as Ferraris and Lamborghinis for a fraction of the price but for me it comes down to style and history, too.

There is so much more to a car than power and speed. I agree that style and history mean a fair amount if you are into that, but what really matters is feel. The feel of the hand stitched leather, the smell of the materials used, the sense of occasion. This is why supercars exist even when a hatch back could be faster (think Audi RS3 v R8). Shame none of this matters in a game...

One thing that does transfer is sound, a singing V12 will always be much more thrilling than a turbo'd I4, even if it weighs more and produces less.

Well everybody has differant taste, thats why the carlist is "mixed". The reason more and more concentratios is put into streetcars, is because supercars has been dominating the car list in manny games thru the time. The fun is to tune up a regular car to be competitable, and that is a basic feature of games like gt5 and forza.

This is also true, I always like a mixed list to include a bit of everything. I do like tuning slower cars into track cars, but they shouldn't be upgraded too much, or they lose too much of their original appeal and often become unbalanced.

I actually like keeping the cars stock and using the performance they have to the utmost. It always fun to push a car to it's limits, even if they are low!

I never tune cars in Forza and GT if I can avoid it. Not into tuning or liveries or any of that crap. I like to keep cars the way nature (well, the manufacturer) intended unless they are real life complete tuners like Mine's or HPA.

Well, thats your view, but the reason manufacturers dont tune the cars more is due to different laws and regulation. Its hard to know their intention though. But manufaturers do know some cars are bought just to be tuned, hence thats why some manufaturers sell aftermarket tuning parts that doesnt violate the warranty. Thats pretty common these days. Some manufacuters also advertise them selves in the tuning scene to appleal tuners...

How do you think real life race cars get built?

I just dont follow this stock car love thing. Its boring.

Of course its boring, customization is the key to sucess, and almost every industry offer some kind of personal touch to the products. Lets face it tuning and modding is "hot" on the scene.

I can see both sides to this.
An article I once read said that the modern supercar is losing it's identity.

Super handling, brakes, easier to drive, not raw enough.

Cars from 90's and back had a lot of character and traits. Lancia Stratos, Shelby cobra that sort of stuff.

Aero and mechanical grip is king nowadays. Not saying a Konegsegg is a pussy cat here lol. But individuality seems to be going from cars.

Quite like stock versions myself depending on the car.
Unfortunately in Forza they are a luxury to me as I have to get competitive first and at least get some strength in my garage throughout the classes.

Stock versions come later when I have the cash. Lol.

Yeah, I'm not disputing that (about race cars) but not all stock cars have a race variant. In fact, most of them don't. It's only the very powerful cars (GT-R, Murcielago, F430, M3 etc) that do.

Once you start modding a car, it's no longer the same car. I mean, what is the point of having a Vauxhall Corsa VXR and tuning it to 400hp? It should be competing with VW GTis and Focus STs, not M3's and IS F's. It's no longer a Corsa VXR. It's an abomination with a Vauxhall logo.

I found in Forza that there is no need whatsoever to tune a car to make it more competitive. If you have a class B car, you'll be more than competitive in a class B race. If you have a class D car and are participating in a class A event, naturally you'll have your arse handed to you. But then, you simply buy a class A car and problem solved.

I think many people are too impatient and are not willing to wait to save up some more cash and so use the quick fix: just get a Civic and tune it to 500hp and win money quickly. I like to take the more circuitous route 👍

It's an improved Astra Corsa.👍

I for one find it interesting how fast/ well handling you can make something go, exploring the potential performance until it can't remain well balanced anymore.

you know isn't that the point a VXR was built too? to improve the standard Corsa, just because they have the legal rights to put on a badge doesn't make their act of tuning different from us.

I'm going to be spending a lifetime with the Agera, the Veyron SS, the LP570-4...I'll only leave the house for food and drink.

I won't have a proper life again until Christmas...maybe. This is of course ignoring all of projects I'm working on.

One last thing, FM4 needs more Zenvo ST1 in it.

The VXR was built to be a sporty hot hatch, keeping the younger generation in mind. Even though it has more hp than other Corsas, it was not designed to have 400hp. Many hours of thought went into the VXR about what would be good for it and what won't be. You notice how the warranty on a modded car goes out the window? Any third party mods will automatically make the warranty void. Why? Because many of these mods damage the car over time.
Also, it is very different when you have professional mechanics working on a car to make it efficient and safe and when you slap on third party mods that haven't been tested, etc.

Yeah, the mother***** Agera baby! Can't wait. Good to see they've added the top range Gallardo too! 👍

Can't wait to do 1/2 drag racing on all cars to see how they compare to F3.

What will be faster? Agera or Veyron SS? I'm going with the Veyron.

I was disappointed FM4 now has every M5 except my fave, the E32 :(
