In GT5, I bought the first car I found from the UCD that was close to the price cap, a '00 Camaro. In GT6 I will do the same... don't really car what car it is though(hoping for a cheap BMW)... Although my second car will be a BMW, and my 3rd car will be a touring car or a GT car.

I love how some people have chosen cars that haven't been included in the game yet, don't get me wrong I would love to see the E36 M3 and the new Viper in GT6 but I haven't seen proof of these yet and neither has anyone else..

Quoting this as a real source of wisdom. To everyone reading this topic, don't set yourself up for disappointment. Only time will tell what vehicles will be included in GT6. Hopefully all of our 'first cars' will be included, but like stated in the previous sentence, only time will tell. :nervous:

If GT6 gives us 20,000 credits to spend and every premium car is available new: Honda Civic Type R '97

If GT6 gives us a credit boost for having a GT5 save on our system: Toyota GT86 '12

How can we already tell? We don't know how many credits we get or wich cars will be available.

Hopefully licence tests are mandatory again so the first car I'll drive is whatever car is in the first licence.

I would love to be able to buy a hona civic( the new one).

I'm guessing good old 10.000cr.
I hope so too!

My first in GT5 was a Beige w/ black stripe Chevelle.... so... probably that... OR an Alfa Romeo Duetto Spider '86 (loved loved that little bugger!)

Provided it's available to me; my AE86.

It's always been my starter (Even in GT5 thanks to a friend) and it always will be.

First off: great thread idea mate!!!

And depends what this game has available. I definitely do want to go premium so I can take advantage of photo-mode.

Probably FR, probably turbo-charged, probably Japanese.
For "tradition's" sake, I'll be aiming for an R32, but a Mk3 Supra would work, too.

From initial reports there is no distinction between standard and premium cars in GT6, all cars can be used in photo mode.

At an historical lookout:

MA70 Supra - GT1
Skyline GTSt25 - GT2
Trueno AE86 - GT3
Celica GT-Four ST185 - GT4
147 Twinspark - GTPSP

3 out of 5 times, I chose a Toyota... 1 time, I chose a Nissan, and in GTPSP it was given to me...

So, yeah, the Premium Trueno it is! Unless there is a RM Midget II-D-type in the UCD.

Like I always do since buying the first Gran Turismo, my first car will be a car that I would like to own or have owned in real life: VW Beetle, Series 5 RX7 Turbo (FC), 70's Mitsubishi Galant Sigma (or it's closest in-game counterpart), Opel Corsa (B or C model). Will probably go with the RX7 since it's so well balanced, easy to modify, sounds great!

I don't remember my first car from GT1
GT2: Mazda Protegé GTX '92
GT3: Chrysler PT Cruiser '00
GT4: Honda Prelude Si VTEC '91
GT5: Mazda RX-7 GT-Limited '85

For GT6 think i will be a Mazda Protegé '02 or a 2gen 95-98 (I drive a '96 in real life).

If I can afford it, the premium ae86 for sure!

I'll be gutted if there isn't a premium AE86. It's bizarre that one of the most iconic and customizable Japanese cars, that's been involved in virtually every motorsport, isn't premium in GT5.

I'm going to hopefully get something very unusual and hopefully premium for my first car. A kei car would be cool, provided some decent aero mods are available.

GT3: MX-5 '89
GT4: MX-5 '89
GT5: MX-5 '89

First car would be either some crap car or the pre-order car (Once they announce it if they do)

Probably a Honda or a Toyota most likely. Gran Turismo 6 will probably give you 30,000 credits to start out with.
