Neighbor's dog has gotten into a habit of 🤬 on my lawn. If I find one more pile of 🤬 I'm going to take a shovel and fling it back at their house.:)

What grinds my gears? Homeworks. Plain and simple.

And parents that gets mad every now and then. I just hate it when they're angry.

If you think that's bad, just take a look at our so-called "Holiday Assignments", handed out during our school holidays.

I refuse to do them at all, on the grouds that the whole idea is ironic :dunce:

What grinds my gears? The fact that I'm really stressed out and need something that will be able to calm me down, but I only got 2 dollars. There goes the chance of me having fun... :grumpy:

Two dollars? With two dollars I could buy a small chocolate syrup sundae. If that doesn't get you relaxed, nothing will :P

I wasn't talking about food to make me happy. I was talking about something... um, that I can't legally talk about. Anyway, I'll just get a Coca Cola. :(

Sometimes I do some a small thing that is wrong by accident, my dad starts shouting and gives me some stupid lectures over little things. So I give him the silent treatment for at least a couple of weeks. I love the look on his face when he realises he over reacted afterwards. :D

็้้I honestly don't think they could pay me enough. :sly:

We pay very, very well here. $100k a year suit you?

That's how my mom is, and to an extent, my dad is as well.

I don't do the silent treatment, I either yell right back at them, or go to my brother's house for the weekend. Win-Win for me :D

Meditate? Sit in a quiet place, everytime a thought pops into your head go with it, think it and then settle back into just being aware of your breathing, your body and what it's feeling.

I don't mean to brag, but it's awesome.

When other gym-goers steal the weight plates you are using OFF THE BAR while you're resting between sets. I don't mean changing the weight so you can share the bar, I mean taking a plate and walking off with it! WTF gym people!?

This is quite the exaggeration. Teachers in Ontario have a scale based on years of experience, and start around 35k. The highest pay is around 85k if you have a 6 year Master's degree, and 70-75k with a 4 year degree. Administration (Prinicipal/VP) make around 100k, but not teachers.

It varies depending on province too, Alberta pays the best (and has much lower taxes), and Quebec is near the bottom of the pack.

@Noob616: Of course I was exaggerating, I know what teachers make on average. I just put a number that a lot of kids think that teachers make tons of money, and that's simply not the case. Those people who think teachers are rich are also those who have no clue about economics and real life. It was put as a stupid response. Any who, what grinds my gears recently? Americans. Ask some of them this question: Some months have 30 days in them and some have 31. How many have 28? Many will answer 1. But the answer is 12, because EVERY month has 28 days in it.

^How'd you manage that?

Ask my PS3. I was playing F1 2010 when suddently the game froze and a message apeared: "Error reading disc". Then I've quitted the game and tried to play again, but the PS3 couldn't read any disc at all. It can still turn on, acess the internet, start games on the HDD, but it can't read discs. At least It wasn't YLOD.

You know what grinds my gears? When you're in class and trying to work on the given classwork, trying your best. When the girl(s) in the class keep talking and talking and don't know when to shut it. But I try to avoid the distraction by stopping to think... "What would Jesus do?" So I tried turning her into a fish. Be gone, Satan! Hello, Shamu. Well, at least Shamu has only one blowhole.

But I can't believe she or they seem to have endless supply of conversations to rant about. The worst part is hearing the girls finish off their sentences with a tad higher tone and with a question mark. It's like a dolphin with tourettes. I'm not trying to be rude towards people with tourettes. Oh, and they never seem to get to the point with their stories, just like Dane Cook. If their stories aren't funny and still don't make any sense which occurs constantly in an annoying matter, relates to Bob Saget every time he tries to get one laugh out of someone. Poor man has never heard "Ha, ha" before.

Use this reference for the next time you want to talk about the human annoyances in your life that comes out of the blue.

What grinds my gears? All this BS technology that automakers are implementing in their vehicles.

Auto parking, auto braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring(there are these reflective things attached to your doors, called MIRRORS), the list goes on. BMW is apparently developing a system to help drivers make left turns more safely. This crap isn't helping anybody as far as DRIVING their car. People think in the event of an emergency these cars will be able to do all the work. This crap will not help anybody that lets themselves get distracted over a "sup" text message. Pay attention and drive. If you don't know how to maintain your lane, brake, make turns, park, or check your mirrors then you shouldn't have a license. Same goes if you envy any of this tech crap. Shame on you. I think any kid that shows up for their road test in any of these kind of cars should get an automatic fail and their parents have their licenses revoked.

ABS is fine. Having trouble in the weather without TC/ESP/ESC/whatever you want to call it? Get better tires.

But that doesn't mean that Volvo is BS too :P

Yeah, I agree, being on the phone while driving must be condemned.

My mom got angry again. BS. :grumpy:

I'm a teacher and my job salary puts me in the top 10% of earners where I live. At least four times the average salary and for maybe less hard work.
I'm a teacher and I'm considered wealthy for what it pays, just to clarify that. :)

^Unluckily, you may have a genetic disease of some kind. Have you consulted a specialist?

I got an appointment with the doctor today. I might have x-rays done to me. I feel rather happy going to the doctor today since I have been experiencing pains in the knees, hips(only on right), and back pain. I also notice that I get pain in my hip if I drive for 30 minutes or more and the pain is increased from the direct rays of the sun.

Friends who you almost never see because they are always with their girlfriend And then when their chain is released for one evening they can't stop complaining about her and ruin my mood on my one free evening!

Having a stuttering problem really grinds my gears a whole hell of a lot.

I have a similar issue, when I get tired I have such problems actually saying what I want to say. 'Carrot and coriander soup' turned out 'Coriat and caronder schup'. Grrrr, hate that.

You know what really grinds my gears?

The stupid kids that insist on playing football like 10 feet away from my alfa!
Which of course results in the ball constantly bouncing off my car, it doesnt matter how many times I kick off at them either, if its not that group of kids its another...drives me chuffing mad!!
