Did PD forget about them completely?

I really can't remember when there was a daily Gr2 race. And with the weekly races now, chances are even lower we see them used...

Also, new cars for this class would have been nice. Instead we got beetles, Minis and other really "fast race" cars. Because that's what the game is about, right?

Just imagine we would've gotten new Gr2 cars together with the red bull ring.
This could've been a great match.

What do you think? Did PD kill Gr2, or will it have a comeback soon?

I personally am not a huge fan of any of the Japanese tracks but I feel like there's some kind of odd politics in the background where the Japanese dont want to license the tracks to Western games and so that leaves PD to pick up the slack... and given that PD is one of the top two franchises out there then there's no doubt that these Japanese tracks will come to the premiere Japanese franchise.

For me anyway it feels like something like Motegi was such a central part of Forza in the past...

It's stranger to me that they introduced the Super GT cars, but basically have no Super GT tracks to race them on other than Suzuka. The way they release content just feels so haphazard and without vision.
We took some time to finally get LeSarthe for a Gr.1 track:lol:

Now I suddenly want to race again... haven't done a race for a while now, don't even think I did one last week at all. But the Gr2 cars are a few of my favorite cars in the game.

Would that be the same reason Toyota used to keep their cars in the GT franchise after taking them out of Forza?Going for the Japanese franchise instead of the western one.

Fuji and Sugo are in PCars2... Sugo appearing probably for the first ever time in a Western-produced game. I don't think your hunch has got any weight to it.

Honestly there's a good chance Motegi comes in the next real track update(october),either that or Fuji
If the pattern of tracks continue (real, fantasy, real) looking at November or update after next.

PCars2 sells what though? As a franchise does it even come close to the big two?
