What happened to Monaco (non Cote de Azur) & this Mini Cooper?

I think Bernie Ecclestone would be at PD head office pretty quickly if they called it Monaco, Circuit de Monaco, or Monte Carlo.
Correct. Circuit de Monaco is a Formula 1-specific track (arguably, the crown jewel), so PD would be required to ask permission for the name. Monaco & Monte Carlo could probably be listed as the name, but again, because the track is only used for F1, Bernie's lawyers could argue that any official/proper naming, relating to that track, is under the F1-license.

Not saying you're wrong, just adding more.

Fell in love with a Mini today after I found a way to make the little sucker drift, I'd love to have an RM version:)

In the GTPlanet banner, if you have the on with the IS350 SUPER GT and the WRC cars, in the way back there's the Mini again.

The track in GT5 is quite a bit different from the real life circuit, even discounting how much wider it is. Try Monaco on F1 2010, or watch some onboards, it is very different when you get down to the specifics.

Yes the track looks different now but look back at F1 20 years ago and it looks more like the track is on GT5. I remember playing F1 on playstation one and I remember all the walls in place like they are in GT5. I was surprised when I read this thread and though all of you had lost your mind, but then I youtubed a recent F1 Monaco race and looked at all the walls that have been moved back. Probably since the death of ayrton senna (spelling?) they revised safety on all tracks. I used to watch F1 when Williams was king.
