What, in your opinion, is the ugliest thing in Gran Turismo 5?

Ehh, the Clix is... wierd yes. but not too bad. Also something no one has mentioned for some reason, the Pontiac Vibe/Toyota Volt

At that, doesn't that care still bare the Pontiac emblem on the nose? I remember time time ago being baffled that a Toyota had the Pontiac emblem on it.

The GT5 model looks... fatter almost. Although I dont see why we kept That over the Audi Streamliner, unless it was license issues.

I'm not sure, I think it may or it may be a Volt emblem or something... Now I want to hunt it down and see..

I found this picture of the GT4 model over a real background:

Man, that one would be perfect for the comparison if the guy who Photoshopped it didn't dither the thing beyond recognition to make it blend with the background. You can even see the glass cover over the headlights that the GT5 model doesn't have.

Though this isn't the first time I wanted to compare the two and couldn't find good enough photos from when it was in GT4, so I think I'm going to have to find that flash drive I had that worked with GT4 and take the pictures myself.

It has the space for it, but I don't think the emblem is still there. That I can check right now.

Edit: Nope. It's not a Pontiac emblem on the Volt. It is a silver letter "V."

I was thinking how cool it would be to have the Audi Streamliner in GT5. Even with a simple interior view, like the tank car, would do the job and make us happy.

They are called standar cars. More specifically, Korean cars. Exactly: one of those absurdely hideous Turbulence Tiburons. Oh good they are dreadful!

I'm sure there was a thread created a while back that asked which car was the ugliest in GT5. My opinion was that the Hyundai HCD6 topped the ugly car list.

But seeing as this asks for the ugliest "thing" rather than "car", I'll still just say the same thing I said before; Hyundai HCD6.

I happen to think the Tiburon Turbulence '99 is pretty decent to drive, even though I've always hated the front end design on that thing. It looks as though the designers drew inspiration from the Jumping spider when they were working on it.

You have a drunk pony in your avatar. I woulnd't consider you a credible source on the matter.

In any case, no, I absolutely don't consider bronies - GTP bronies, at least - capable of "non-alterior" motives for anything.

My mind just broke. I have no idea what this means. Are you trying to say he isn't a good source for your paranoid delusions? And does the second part mean bronies "are" capable of alterior motives. It hurts....really...my nose is bleeding.

On another note, is there any way I can submit to have the words "dump" and "status" added to the language filter?

Gimme a D, Gimme a U, Gimme a M, Gimme a P, what does that spell boys and girls... DUMP STATUS!

No ... just no... don't ever say that horrible phrase again and don't ask me why because that's how the cookie crumbles... and i don't decide how the cookie crumbles.. :dunce:

hmmmm... Lamborghini Countach is a strong contender.
:nervous:

The Countach is my favorite car ever made......

Answering the question, the 2CV wasn't called "the tin snail" for nothing. The C4 looks like a modern interpretation of it. The Ford Ka is disgusting too.

I haven't even driven it, I just see it and press circle as fast as I can. Unbearable thing to watch...

The ugliest thing in GT5 is posting a picture of your Mazdaspeed 6 beating a GTR in a online race on SS tire. Then waiting for the hate to come because everyone thinks the GTR is the greatest thing to ever grace our existence.

Many standard cars are very ugly: :scared:

Ford Mustang SVT Cobra - Very boxy :yuck:
Lamborghini Diablo GT500 - livery looks like 🤬
BMW McLaren F1 - same as the Diablo
GTOne and Sauber Merc C9 - WORST EXHAUST SOUNDS IN THE GAME :ouch:
