The GTRs, while not *ugly*, certainly aren't pretty. I respect the hell out of them for a lot of reasons, but looks ain't among them.

Yes it does. I automatically distrust anything a brony says or does. I'm sure you would too after having them run roughshod over you and a lot of other people while the site staff keeps them safe from counterattack.

It has been said many times before, but that car is downright weird, it looks like it was drawn with a crayon by a 2 year old, i also wonder what the designers where thinking, or what they where smoking.

And to here some people say other cars are the "ugliest" in GT5, have obviously not come across the HCD6, but then again......*sigh*, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder"

Okay, I found a couple:

It's kinda hard to tell when the angles aren't the same, but even in that pic you can see that the GT4 model has more polys than the GT5 one and that the GT5 one has a lot rougher textures. Note the headlights in particular.





I mean, the car isn't particularly good looking even in real life; but much like how the Alto Works used to be glitched in that regard the GT5 rendition doesn't do it any favors.

That car look like predator.I wouldnt say gt4 had more polys than the gt5 version.They just upscaled the mesh without updating the textures.Its lazy on their part but retexturing is somewhat time consuming .... that might explain why alot of standards started to look better because they eventually got to updating the textures.
