Captain Trips
i got banned because I like initial d
We were laughing about it on the Initial D World forums...
I know I've said this countless times, you were not banned because you like Initial D. You were banned for some inappropriate posts u made...such as the response I found on FP's thread, the random Initial D song lyrics I found on serious threads that had absolutely nothing to do with Initial D. And then on top of that, you were just an ass in general. Which is really no surprise to anyone on the IDM or GTP forums.
As for laughing on the IDW forums, yea, that was pretty funny. Because your attitude made a complete 180 (for those who don't know, Captain trips is
"keisuke takahashi" over there). You basically sliced up my AIM convos to make me sound like an Initial D hater, even though I said I wasn't quite a few times. Using that, you encourage people to come over and attack my forums. I mean its sad enough that the people over there actually believed you without getting our side of the story, but the fact that you would even go that far, shows how low you will go just to be recognized by a group of your peers.
And then on a different thread you even tried insulting FP, who had done absoutely nothing to you at all. In fact he is a long time poster over at IDW. I mean do you have no shame? And to make matters worse you never even used our last AIM convo, but that was probably because it would have basically showed your true colors. I personally thought the best part of the thread was when the admin closed it.
And now I see you have an GT4 Drifting forum thread over at IDW as well, in which you bash everyone here. Is this commonplace with you? Come to a forum, spread as much Initial D as possible, ignoring what the forum is actually about (GT4 Drifting incase you didn't know).. and as soon as your rejected, you start a hate post over at IDW, trying to raise your morale so you can continue to repeat the same process over and over?
Captain Trips
because if it weren't for ID, 80% of these people would have zero idea what drifting is.
Well, just to get this out of the way, that statement is completely untrue, and based on your personal opinion. And even if there are people who are now drifting in GT4 because they watched Initial D at some point (like myself), that is no reason to shove Initial D down their throats and demand that the basically pay homage to it each day because they wouldn't be here other wise. People move on, they grow up, and go on to bigger and better things. At best, Initial D is a stepping stone, to help you get into the drifting scene. Thats about the best purpose it serves.
Initial D is anime, japanese animation. It's a form of entertainment you watch on your computer, or your television. That is as far as it goes. Its a nice anime to sit down and watch when you don't have anything to do, but after you reach that point, it has no purpose on these forums. Gran Turismo 4 is a driving simulator. What we do here is drift in a simulated environment. Initial D is not based on a simulation, in fact a majority of the drifts depicted there could never happen, since they are both fast and high angled, two things that do not mix in the real world, or in GT4.
