All people yelling bad things about the Veyron, just cant drive it properly around a good cornered track, that's a fact!
And why do those people always start off in topics such as this, putting the Veyron in a bad corner. Like said, THE PLAYER who drives is is bad, not the car!

My way of starting with the Veyron was like this:
I thought 'if this thing is the fastest accelerator of this game' and I can learn how to drive it properly, I might do descent times with it, even on the Nurburgring, I started tweaking the car, and learned how to drive it. I really like it now!

Exactly. The Veyron can actually be a pretty fun car to drive when you're able to. Best thing to do when you start using the Veyron just take it out to a twisty course, Nurb or Sarthe or ehatever, and run a few laps with the driving line on. When you feel you're doing pretty good turn off the driving line.

Yes i saw this post. He had a pic of the results of his speed test. Saying 331 and he said there was a way to keep the wing down

I want picks of the wing down at speed, not the results of the test. No one else seems to be able to recreate this, so I'm officially calling BS unless it can be verified through pics and recreation through another user.

If someone else can do it, then I'll gladly be proven wrong. So far, though, all we have is a lot of rumors.

The problem with this community is, some of the people are selfish pricks, so when things like this are discovered, they want to keep it to themselves

(You know who you are)

And then there's the problem of people finding bugs and glitches that rape the game of its entertainment value, and proceed to spread them like hookers with herpes.

I dont know about what you wanna learn, but the spoiler goes up when you go fast.....then at about 370 km/h it goes down a bit, but not all the way to give the car a boost of aerodynamics and keep it to the ground at the same time.

Oh and by the way:

It's amazing how people in GT5 paint the car pink and call it the "Gayron". Their ignorance or the immaturity (propably due to age) is ruining this car's magnifiscence. It's a legendary car, a beast, a king. Yet, just because some people use it to ram others online, it just doesn't get the respect it deserves......

I agree, its a fantastic car. And if you can set it up to turn, it can do wonders on Nurb like my baby does. :). Now, the LFGay on the other hand...................LOL, just kidding.

Um no...

A Veyron will run the 1/4 in the low 10s. A 2012 GTR runs low 11's, at best high 10's.

Don't know where you get this, but my gtr 2012 (black edition) pulled a 8.951 last night with no assists.

When the Veyron reaches around 230mph the spoiler goes down and the car has a boost of acceleration (due to reduced drag). However provided you don't use the brakes the spoiler will stay down below the 230mph limit. But it does come back up eventually, so I have no idea whether it is even possible to disable it completely.
As far as top speed goes, disabling the spoiler will make no difference as at high speed it has no effect anyway.
