That guy is BreakerOhio from this forum, who uses a Logitech G25 wheel (as do many here including myself).

I hope i can get heel and toe down as good as this guy. I can do it in my dad's mini on a track, but it looks like it might be harder in the game, lol.
Anyways, that wheel is freekin amazing and im picking it up ASAP.

Honestly there is no reason to go any higher or lower with a wheel.

It's a great wheel, very glad I bought it. Heel-toe does work well with it and the pedals are spaced well enough (IMO) to make it pretty easy.
My only complaint is spotty reliability in the shifter unit. But after I contacted Logitech about a problem with mine, they sent me an entire G25 set, so I have a spare wheel and pedal set in case anything goes wrong again. 
The G25 is a must-have for anyone who plays Live for Speed.

So what should I do about mounting it? I have a wooden desk i can use in my room, or I can splurge on a race seat and mount like the ones listed in this forum. I guess I'm undecided at this point.
From what I've read on the internet, the optometric sensor that detects when the shifter is in its pushed-down position failed, and that's a somewhat common problem. I could still use gears 1-6, but not reverse or the sequential mode.
If I recall correctly, the guys who opened their shifters up instead of calling Logitech said that the soldering for the sensor was pretty crappy. I'll probably open it up too if the shifter fails again.
I dunno. DFP is a lot lot cheaper and is still a first class wheel. I'd love a G25 but probably don't play enough to warrant the upgrade.

I'll have to agree. I can tell that breaker either raced or does track days, by how well he downshifts using heel and toe. (and he drives an s2000).Thats some amazing driving there Breaker!.... Excellent slam shifting! How much punishment can the G25 take?
I can just manage auto on a sixaxis!

He already sold me on the new wheel. I'll be using my dad's DFP for a week till i get back to San diego. then it's on!
