My biggest reason is that I like racing, but I have no goals left in GT5 and that makes it boring; the AI are not a challenge (even in a stock car with professional AI and maxed out aggression), I have all the money and cars I want, the online races are too hard to find, other than 500PP Nurburgring, but I am tired of 500 PP Nurburgring, I have done hundreds and thousands of laps around every track there's nothing left for me to do here.

So I'm ready for GT6 :) new modes, easier to race online, gotta earn some new cars, learn new tracks and physics, gotta complete that career mode :) Lots of new things to achieve.

I'm ready, whats your biggest reason? :)

GT6 is going to be much better than GT5 in all departments. I agree about AI and racing but just driving in A specs collecting cars and improving times with different car on tracks. Better A spec and not frustrating special events this time, hopefully.

I always saw GT5 as the 'stepping-stone' of Kazunori's dream of realism, and now I see GT6 pushing that to what is technically possible.

As for what makes me want GT6, well it's Gran Turismo after all :)

I don't even know if I want GT6 since I don't know how it really is. I'm very cautious with all these "GT6 is going to be much better than GT5 in all departments". Nobody knows that yet. What if the frame rate got worse since they tried to get rid of pixeled shadows but they were already "hardware borderline" with PS3 in GT5?

It will be the best Gran Turismo to date. Everything GT5 was, and most likely, improved in every way.

Ok since you are so good to predict the future I need to know how Nasdaq Index will perform the next three months, day by day. Thanks in advance.

Just enjoy driving, whatever it may be, racing, drifting, rallying, time trial, or just cruising ... I spent at least 200,000 miles on total of several accounts since release day of GT5, it will only add more and more. I am enjoying making and driving replicas now in GT5, the up coming GT6 with better physics and new track, new premium cars, would be a new world to traverse :D I will be making new GT6 version of replicas I have made in GT5 for sure - the improved tuning and customization is a good news. Devil Z is a must have in GT6, hopefully in premium :P

Do you also wonder what will happen when you drop a rock? Will it fall, or float away? Or turn into a giant dinosaur? After all, you can't know for sure until it has happened...

It will drop.

My biggest reasons for wanting GT6 are:

- New suspension and tyre model.
- New cars and tracks.
- New course maker (knock on wood).
- It will be the best GT title so far (yes, that's a no-brainer).

Up to date cars. The SLS GT3 and E63. That would be the single most reason I buy GT games. All the other aspects are always second.

But what if there is a tornado coming at the same time you let go of it...? Then it should float? 💡 but how often do tornados form at the same time you drop the rock. :D

LOL.

At for the rest of the thread, assumptions, assumptions everywhere. Call me when this "superiority in all departments is ready". Than we can speak again.

Almost everything interesting about GT6 we know only from being told by PD that it will be there. Course maker, online modes, single player, AI, sounds, tuning and upgrades, all said to be better but we haven't seen any of it or even had it described in detail.

Unfortunately, PD have a bit of a poor reputation recently for sticking to what they say. GT5 came out missing quite a lot of fundamental features that had to be added via patch just to match what they had written on the box/in the manual. And we're seeing that some stuff is going to be left out of GT6 to be added at a later date as well. Is there going to be more stuff added to that list? Nobody knows, and it's not out of the question.

I don't think it's unreasonable at all to question the assumption that GT6 will be the "best GT to date". If enough stuff gets pushed into a patch and doesn't make it into GT6 1.0, it's entirely possible that the release version could be a worse game than the current version of GT5.

Maybe it ends up being a better game in a year or two, but the release version is what we're all going to be playing in two months, so that's really all I'm interested in.

Usualy its because I love GT, and more so, for pure entertainment at home.
Finally, the fact that we can drive the newest model cars as and when they are released in the real world, and getting to drive / race them on new tracks as well.

This is pretty much my reason of wanting GT6. And for the fact that there won't be no more "exp points" and " no seperate A/B Specs. Those two are a plus added to the list. 👍

I want GT6 because there will be more options for online racing, it's gonna expand beyond what GT5 is capable of. How much more will be added; we'll just have to wait & see. I'm also hoping the physics are gonna be more realistic, with lift off oversteer making a welcome return! The new real world tracks are getting me quite excited too.

Well, I'm pretty confident that the release version will be better than GT5. Going back to GT5 after doing the GT Academy demo made that obvious for me.

I didn't even want to play GT5 anymore.

Because I'm a loyal GT player, and no other game delivers the kind of experience on the PS3 like GT does.

HOWEVER, I'm not planning on getting it on Day 1. I'm gonna wait and see how the reception is first.

The new physics alone is the strongest reason, not to mention that it's gonna be everything GT5 was ment to be fron the beginning...

New tracks and cars. Probably won't be a day one purchase though, but that might change if I get a job between now and december.

Of what we've so far actually seen; improved physics, UI, new cars and Bathurst. Still waiting for demonstrations/more information regarding GT Mode, Course Maker, online features and customization.

However, I'm holding off my purchase until they've fixed the sounds through an update and made FOV adjustment available (in cockpit view).

I want GT6 because I bought a PS3 + G27 combo just to experience the GT franchise in the PS3 and I was really disappointed by GT5. I don't even want to touch the damn game anymore...

Because Gran Turismo is always a fun game, will provide at least another 2 to 3 years of enjoyment.

..and because Bathurst is in it.

-New tracks
-New cars
-New Gran Turismo

Played GT5 every day for over two years, so something new is welcome.

:D
