What is your biggest reason for wanting GT6?

I'm confused. So that does mean that GT6 final will have the same large framerate drops and screen judder even with only one car on screen that the GT Academy demo had? That's directly related to graphics, after all.

Did you even read what you quoted?did you read my following posts? Nevermind.... You only read what you want.

You only read what you want.

That's ironic, since your stance right now is that anything you deem good in the GT6 demos is representative of the final game, and anything that isn't up to snuff is... let me guess, a placeholder?

Also, as already pointed out; GT5 Prologue certainly had features that never made it to the full game, both good and bad.

No. I read what you wrote. I'm just curious which one of the completely contradictory posts (two of which I quoted, as you pointed out) I'm supposed to take as being your actual opinion. Hence the question. Is early stuff well before the game released indicative of the final game's quality, or not? There's obviously a middle ground between the two extremes for each specific thing being discussed, but "everything I liked we've got proof of because it was in the demo, and everything others don't like we can't prove because it's only a demo of the final game" isn't actually playing Devil's Advocate.

Did I ever state that anything was a placeholder? No. What I DID state was that positives are more likely to make the final release....As I've said, you read what you want.

Well if I may. PD has prevented saved progress being transferred from GT5 to GT6 to prevent hacking, but them again, some mindless person who only plays GT5 as their lifestyle will find some way to hack GT6.

I predict it will be hacked about 1-1.5 years from release. Why, because GT5 was hacked in about 2.5 years. and Since GT5 was hacked, there will be more people trying to hack GT6, so it will be about half of the time.

Biggest reason is that GT6 is a car game for car guys. Its predecessor was massively flawed, and GT6 looks to improve upon it marginally in key areas, but at its core Gran Turismo is still sugar for a gear head.

As long as Gran Turismo continues to offer a large variety of cars to race on a large variety of tracks I'll never be able to escape it's gravitational pull.

Marginal improvements were the updates to GT5. GT6 is a sequel where they had to bring lots of changes to gameplay, graphics and the design of the game.

Some people would consider the changes so far revealed between GT5 and GT6 to be marginal compared to the changes between any other pair of GT games.

I am looking forward to do endurance races with all the GT3 or racemodded cars. I am really interested, if the Nurb 24h endu finally is without LMP cars.

This post. 👍👍 "GT6 is a car game for car guys" so very true Earth, 100% agreed with you. :)

I think I said it before. GT5 was waaay to flawed. I'm really to know that GT6 is finally going back to its old self, such as no xp points and A&B Specs back to the GT4 way. :D

Note: Never change, stick to your old school roots. ;)

....and where are those changes? We've not heard about them if they exist. Most of the changes to gameplay we've heard about so far are steps backwards to how things were with GT4. They're good changes but it's hardly a huge improvement going forward.

A "massively flawed game that gets marginally improved upon" in it's next version isn't really that encouraging:sly:

(My biggest expectation for GT6 is to see what of the new physics are capable of in terms of car setup. I expect a much more detailed system for seting up your tarmac eater, and not some c*** setups as GT5 offered. I dream of having the game in my hands, insert the game on PS3, buy my AE86, and get many options on parts, and install a N2 Club bodykit on it! ) (Then...I wake up :grumpy:)

Just for the record :

I'm looking forward for the track editor, but mostly because of how it "feels", some work went into it, and I had good fun driving those GT academy cars, like back with GT2.

Other than that, maybe the lack of that stupid lvl system and hopefully a better career mode.

Two words "the End"
This will be the last ever game i buy new for ps3 so im going out with the best. And will be playing ever day it Driver Club is released.

Including GTAV? Because that's not really a game for car guys (racers not any = all)...

I agree with this.

This could be said about any game that has cars...

So, since all GTA games have cars, does this mean that the GTA game for the Gameboy Advance can be for car guys like us? Lol, I think that's too funny. Hehe.

Yes. GT 6 could be a car game that people like me don't like. Funny. Hehe.

What a stupid thing to say. Maybe some of us won't like it that much because we have been addicted to cars all our lives?

The hell?

I don't know what's wrong with you. If you don't like it for your own reasons, then you don't have to like it. I'm not saying that you should, as a car addict, anyway. If you can just grow up, you would understand that.
