I can't hear anything or is that just me but nothing beats a brutal dubstep drop
+1, be it a smooth and flowy drop or a violent, brutal drop, dubstep gets me dialed in for pretty much any video game, also great for snowboarding!
I usualy listen to Pendulum, Disturbed and Swedish House Mafia when i play GT5, i turn the music off when I'm speaking to friends on my mic though but listen to the music otherwise
hip hop is the first thing that comes to mind for drifting specifically. I have all sorts of music on my custom playlist though.
I usually listen to Cut Copy, Washed Out, and Crystal Fighters stations on Pandora while drifting. Kinda hard to describe the genre. lol
