Okay, first post, this thread got my imagine runnin'

I'd love to see:

Downtown Toronto - be nice to do 200mph on the Gardiner's "Expressway" past the ACC and CN Tower for a change

Downtown Vancouver - Blasting through Stanley Park, over the Lion's Gate Bridge or over Granville Island maybe

Donnington Park - classic UK track, be nice to have the short and full versions (Brands Hatch too!)

Pikes Peak Hill Climb - longer than GT2 though

Bathurst - as many other people have posted

Road America - remember this one from an old TOCA game

Spa - how did it not make it in yet?

Mugello - Love that track on Moto GP 3

Longer point-to-point rally stages instead of laps round a short circuit, head-to-head special stages too

Bring back Rome Night, SSR11, Grindelwald, Red Rock Valley, Taihiti

Get rid of Hong Kong, Paris and Seoul

Make sure El Capitan, Costa di Amalfi and Citti di Aria return - they are amazing tracks

That would make me pretty happy!

I would like to see the original version of current tracks like Monza , San Marino, Spa, etc. These tracks have being heavily modified (i.e. chicaned) for safety’s sake. Not needed in a video game.

Monza’s first chicane after the starting line :yuck:

Formula one circuits, maybe!! ^^

More oval tracks, too!!

In special, INTERLAGOS TRACK, from Brazil. As I do some races there, I got perfetc 'know-how' there...

As far as I know there used to be a very long (several miles) and challenging version of the Interlagos track decades ago. I do not like the F1 track, but the long version would be cool.

Test Drive 5 had a circuit track in Manchester. There was a really big bridge, as well as a smaller red bridge, and there were also three consecutive jumps a la Seattle, but with more pavement between them:mischievous:. Does that all sound familiar?
Theres a few bridges in Manchester including the big one over the ship canal, but theres nothng like the jumps in Seattle anywhere in Manchester I can think of. I can think of a place it could but but it sounds like Test drive exaggerated the steepness a lot.

I live in Manchester too - but North ;). Just moved from South though 👍.
It's always good to see a fellow Manc online, what part of South Manchester were you in, anywear near Didsbury, Northenden or Chorlton?

no way OVals suck! 👎

I played Jarrett and Labonte Stock Car Racing for ps1 and that had a lot of cool tracks. I haven't played Toca 2 yet, but I'm sure it has much of the same. I would be happy if GT5 had Surfers Paradise, Bathurst, Monza, Catalunya, Road America, Vancouver, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Oulton Park, Hockenheim, Adelaide, Sugo, Aida, Watkins Glen, Mexico City, A-1 Ring. I'm sure there are others. GT5 needs like 4 more ovals, but the AI needs to be a lot better. It would nice if GT5 had Daytona, Indianapolis, Bristol, Martinsville, and a California Speedway type track. Also, they need to bring back Rome, Special Stage Route 11, and Gwindlewald from GT2. The way GT is going, many of these tracks are sure to be in future games.

What new motorsport race tracks and citys would you like to see in GT5!!

Well I would like to see:

Thruxton
Silverstone
Goodwood
Pembrey

A citys of towns

Southampton
Eastleigh
London
Dublin
Glasgow

I would like to see more authentic tracks that are in the ALMS, F1, JGTC, and FIA

Tracks I would like to see:
Zandvoort
Spa Francorchamps
Macau would be cool indeed
Donington
Brands Hatch
Daytona
Indianapolis
Monza
Imola

Cities:
Amsterdam
Shanghai
Rome (back again)
San Francisco would be cool

For the rest, Special Stage Route 11 must come back again. First I hated that track, but once I knew that track, I started to like it.:)

Cities:
Pittsburgh, PA - Travelling on the bottom of one of Pittsburgh's double-deckers bridges would be extremely cool
Miami, FL - Sunshine and palm trees
Atlanta, GA - I-285 would make an awesome track, especially if PD could create the effect of pre-rush hour traffic

Orignial Tracks:
Oahu, HI (entire island) - North Shore, Diamond Head, and Pearl Harbor are must-have features

Real Circuits:
Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez
Imola

I can go for more F1 GP courses, but more ovals? I think one or two is plenty. I'd be more amused by an straight track, that would go on for miles(call it Utah Interstate track). :D

I would like to see Spa in Beligum, Macu in Hong Kong (I think). The old Monza, Italy with the banking. Silverstone, GB, Sebring, Florida, Road America, Wisconsin?, Aida, Japan.

Let me say this also, I have only had the game and the GT Force Pro wheel, for about a week. The nurbergring entire course is worth the price of the game alone. That track is simply AMAZING. After reading books, magazine articles, and hearing stories about the old 'ring, I'm so glad to be able to drive in in this game. No wonder all the major manufactuers use the 'ring as a test track for performance car development. AWESOME!!!

That was Newcastle not Manchester, remember it well, being a Geordie, the big bridge was the Tyne Bridge, the smaller red bridge was the Swing Bridge and the jumps were on your way down Grey Street. It was actually pretty faithful to the city's layout.

*The 2005 F1 GP Tracks :D I was dreaming for more F1 circuits in Gt4 but got totally left on the wishing podium. :(
*Some Aussie Tracks like Bathurst and QLD Raceway and Adelaide (for old school F1's sake!), Gold Coast, Philip Island. :D
*All previous Gran Turismo Tracks. Why they leave any out of any sequel is beyond me... especially with such a prestigious game as GT!

If the F1 tracks were put in i'd be one happy chappy... provided i could multiplayer on them with 4 people. :d

oops, my bad. I've been switching tracks and names alot recently. I could have sworn that Apricot Hill was a real track, thought I remembered it from the original Formula One for PS1 and...ah...I was...um...yeah. :ouch:

Barber Motorsorts Park in birmingham alabama, and that new circuit in the middle east....forgot what its called but they just had an f1gp there.

Spa-Frankorchamps
Brands Hatch
All other Nurburgrings
Imola
Monza
Road Atlanta
Ocshersleben
Hungaroring

Why don't they make gt4 only world circuits? It would mean giving a lot up but think what you'd get in return.

Some super long historic tracks would also be amazing (50km+).

AUSSIE GREATS!
--------------------

1. Bathurst
2. Phillip Island
3. Adelaide

some of these australian tracks would be great and im suprised they havent been in before bathurst is well known around the world! bt as i said somewhere else if we get these tracks you gotta have more holdens/fords to choose from! especially the older ones!

Reply to Civicgsir:

LOL!!!

The Golden Gate Bridge track would be awesome, and to further loop it, link the Bay Bridge into it, then it would be the UBER SAN FRANCISCO track instead! 💡

Omologato
Here's an idea: The entire continent of Antarctica. Wouldnt that be fun?
for people like me that would mean something along the lines of 'accelerate -- slide...slide...try to stop....slide even more... ..... :scared:

sydney is for little girly men. there are no actual good tracks in sydney (gotham 2 just wanted to put the harbour bridge in the game somewhere for globe-trotting effect). BATHURST @ Mount Panorama is the one and only aussie track PD should include some day. Because we would only get one track in any future GT, and if it wasn't Bathurst it would be a traversty. We already got shafted with our car selection. (no HSVs). Bathurst is truly demanding and hair raising. Wimpy foriegners cannot race on it. Its the best race track in the world for me, & I'm sure everyone else would agree once they can play it in GT5+.
they could include oran park though, it is great! Imagine a car like the C9 or 787 going over those kerbs and through the dog leg at breakneck speed! GREAT!

I think it would be cool to include some more American tracks like Road America, Watkins Glen, Sears Point, and some speedways like Indianapolis and Daytona which both have great infield road courses.

Also, I would like to see long point to point courses which could be based on streaches of the Aoutobahn or US Interstate Highways. Just Imagine a 1000 plus mile endurance race from New York City to Houston, Hamburg to Rome via-Paris or something like that!

PS I would also like to be able to select which configuration on a track I want to do, like racing Watkings Glen without the chicane or something. PD could allow players to access all roads and alternate parts of a track in practice mode for example with nothing blocked off! I can't tell you how many times I have reached the Porsche Curves on the Sarthe Circuit in GT4 and looked down that blocked off road which I know would lead to the White house section if it wasn't blocked off, or the road on the left after the Dunlop tire bridge which, likewise, would lead into the Bugatti Circuit. It should be possible on PS3 to make those areas an accessible part of the track, and I hope they do!

After minutes of thinking and two or three Led Zeppelin songs gone by, I have one more thought; Why not include the old Millie Miglia too! Sans-Traffic of course!

HI there!

Nurburgring GP Course

Nurburgring Short

Nurburgring "24h" Version (GP Course + Nordschleife)

Nurburgring "VLN" Version (Short + Nordschleife)

Hockenheimring OLD (with and without chicanes)

Hockenheimring Short (to compare times with "SportAuto" Magazine times)

and Spa.

Have Fun

👍
