What old game have you been playing to tide you over to GT5?

Much respect to CMR and his rally game namesakes, but Richard Burns Rally with RSRBR2009 mod is absolutely the best virtual rally experience ive come across.

I refuse to accept that you do not own illegal copies of any software at all, anywhere, and that for every MP3 (or equivalent) in your music collection, you have the original source. Riiiiiight...

I own original copies of the Pokemon games for Gameboy and i own 2 gameboy colours. But if i ever want to play them i use my GBA emulator, because that means i don't have to replace the internal batteries in the game cartridges and my memory saves can be backed up easily (The batteries are insanely expensive... plus when they run down it deletes your game save)

My PS1 memory card is faulty (it keeps formatting itself) and because of this i cannot play my PS1 games. My GT2 simulation mode disc is scratched. I don't think GT2 is on Playstation Network, and good luck getting a new copy for PS1, so the only other alternative is an emulator.

Every single MP3 i have is a legal copy. I have used peer to peer in the past to download things, but only if i already own them or if i intend to buy them in the near future (rules which i have followed for everything i have illegally downloaded so far). You take a very narrow minded view on this and i implore you to see reason.
 
Well i went Gamestop and Picked up a copy of The getaway black monday, Excellent game! 👍

Game Has very good Sharp HD looking graphics that look great on my TV

It almost looks like a PS3 game if you tinker around with the brightness and saturation.

I highly recommend. But even still after 2 hours of playing, i got sucked right back into prologue.

Hey, why don't you try to find something better to do than accuse people of things?

I do have a Playstation, and I do own GT2 (And GT1, 3, 4, and 5P). Why would I emulate the game instead of playing the game on the original hardware? Besides ignoring the fact that hardware fails and discs scratch, there are just certain benefits to emulation. A 320 GB memory card, graphical enhancements, ability to take screenshots... these are the reasons I emulate the game, rather than play on the hardware.

Oh, and FYI the reason I added the proclamation of innocence is so moderators wouldn't get on my case about it. It's against the AUP to discuss illegal activities, so I did it just to be on the safe side, because of people like you who tend to assume that anyone who says they emulate games are admitting to or condoning piracy.

Please stop accusing people of Being in the wrong solely based on your Assumptions through the "Internet"

And please stay on topic. You could of easily done that in a PM.
 
I picked up GT2 again and I have to say this is the best gran turismo in the series. Obviously the graphics and stuff are way out dated but some of the simple things are done so great. The sense of speed in this game is much better than GT5P. The turbo sound is excellent. The car collection is also great. It has like every BMW that was produced at the time. This is the game that got me into the GT series.

I own the game but my PSX no longer works, so i turned to emulators to revive my collection.

With the right plugins the game looks 100x better than i remember on my 1970's UHF\VHF tv with PS1 thru cable converter! :lol:
 
Right now? Dragon Age: Origins, that should keep me busy for a very long time since it's awesome. I'm still playing through another go of Mass Effect and KOTOR I & II as well. I should be finished with Risen this weekend so I'll be able to take that off my list.

On consoles, playing through Forza 3 right now, past that there isn't much out for consoles that I deem worth playing.
 
Oh my gosh! I just went through an old box of what I thought was junk and found a copy of GT1,GT3,GT4,and a working PS2! So I am going to get started tonight on GT1 and by the time I finish GT4 again GT5 should be out! Damn I am so excited!

RSRBR09 is a MONSTER mod. You get many cars, a few extra tracks
and every single track can be made snow/gravel/tarmac. You can
also do online rally's comparing your times to the rest of the world.

Not exactly last-generation, but I just bought Fable 2, Mass Effect, Mirror's Edge and GTA4 to help March come sooner.
 
I bought some japanese playstation 2 games from playasia.. initial d and some others...excelent games.
 
I recently tried to finish my last few gold licences (three or four I guess) at """GT4"""...the one with the audi at infenion I managed shortly....although the steering was horrible...felt like an arcade game in comparison with GT5P....
but I still fail at the f...ing part at LeMans with the nissan...
but the day will come when I also accomplish that one too...just keep trying, trying, trying...

I'v been playing shift. Just bought it the other day.Fun game but can tell I'm gonna burn right through it though,well before gt5 launch. I do have my copy pre-ordered at game stop.
 
Gran Turismo 4, seeing as NFS games are NO match for it.
 
rFacotr is super fun game and planty of mods! I can't wait for rFactor 2

but now..
I am going back to iRacing soon. I miss playing with my Porsche RS wheel on my PC!
