What Past Championships/Endurances Would You Want to See Return for GT5?

There were some great championships and endurance races in GT3 and GT4 which I would love to return. There were many events in GT3 which I would participate in over and over again, sadly GT4 didn't give me the same experience, but it did still have some great events.

These events include:
- Polyphony Digital Cup (definitely not the GT4 version :yuck:)
- Yaris Race
- Like the Wind (the 30 lap version which featured in GT3. Yes, I enjoy the Test Course)
- Italian Avant Garde
- Gran Turismo World Championship
- All-Japan GT Championship
- Gran Turismo All-Stars
- Grand valley 300km
- Seattle 100miles
- Trial Mountain Endurance
- Special Stage Route 11 All Night
- Roadster Endurance (both GT3 and GT4 versions were awesome fun, maybe an MX-5 endurance championship should be added!)
- Mistral 78 Laps
- Formula GT World Championship
- Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft
- 1000 Miles!
- Nürburgring 24h Endurance
- Nürburgring 4h Endurance
- Suzuka 1000km
- Fuji 1000km
- Circuit de la Sarthe 24h I
- Circuit de la Sarthe 24h II

It's quite a large list, but I'd love to see these events return. With 9 extra competitors, they could only get better!

There wasn't any races for the Supercar in the past though, this thread's about past championships returning.;)

Too true my bad for not reading thread title correctly.
I did however recall a track,I think fromGT2 night track done in an Alpha 156 4wd don't recall ever seeing it again ,it was a fast street circuit.

I'd love to see the 1000 Miles! event back. In fact, any of the endurance races would be welcomed, for me a proper race lasts longer than 30 minutes!

I wish this appear in GT5:

-Like The Wind(from GT3,NOT GT4)
-Apricot Hill 200km(i love it,you?)
-SSR5/SSR11 All-Night(i wish both)
-GT All-Stars(my favourite)
-El Capitan 200 Miles(👍 for the race & scenery)
-1000 Miles!(wow,that is a lot of distance)
-Rome 2 Hours(👍 or 👎 ? You be the judge)
-Pikes Peaks Hillclimb(wishing upon a star for the full version course)
-Trial Mountain 30 Laps(the only enduro in GT2 that i could won without pitstop, also i enjoy to ride the 295hp or lesser power car for 30 laps race)

i think that's enough

I know I've already wished for it, but the more I think about, the more I can't wait to hopefully race in the Grand Valley 300km event again.:)

Formula GT - loved the GT3 version
Missions in GT4 - these were really great
Mistral 78
DTM
All the races where you had to race a car that fit in a year range (older than 1970, only 80's, only 90's etc.)

I think with online now there is less of a need for GT5 to have the best events. Racing online with real racers is sometimes frustrating, but so rewarding. I've enjoyed racing online in GT5P and racing against some really good racers. In GT3/4 it sometimes felt like the events had to be really good to overcome the boring-ness of racing the AI.

One thing I'd like to see is the 1000 miles on the old nurburgring track (with the old home stretch where the current f1 circuit is now)
