I have Iphone 4, but I'm going to buy Galaxy S4, I didn't know Apple when I bought the Iphone 4 because I was to young, but now I hate them, they are evil! Their prices don't mean anything, I mean, Why does an Iphone 5, released 1 year ago, costs more than a Galaxy S4, which was released only since a few months. And Even a Galaxy S2 is better than an Iphone 5, i'm not joking. Marketing, there you are...

Yeah, true, but I still want to get the WP8 experience.. I'm probably not getting my Nokia before Christmas as I JUST started a job, so I'll have time to play in iOs7 =3
Why don't you get the 1020 I think it's called. The one with the 42 mega pixel camera.

Well the s4 is $650 and iPhone 5 is $700. Next week when the 5s comes out the new phone will be $700 and the 5 cheaper. Just happened that s4 came out sooner, but still same year.

Currently am using a Samsung Reality as my primary cell phone. After the battery replacement it has been a decent phone. Speaker is a bit quiet though.

The only reason I don't get the 1020 is because I can't do Wireless Charging, well unless I get a really rare and expensive case that looks ugly..

Today, I got a great deal on an iPhone 5. Only costed $100 for the 16gb model! :D The phone I had previously was an iPhone 3GS.

Good choice. I was thinking of it as my next phone. If only it came in lime green.

If Nokia doesn't come out with a lime green Lumia 1020, I guess this guy can help me out.

EDIT: If Nokia did this,

I'd get a Lumia 1020 in a heartbeat.

And to stick to the topic, I'm still using my green Nokia N8.

And recently acquired, the Sony XPERIA P in red. Loving it so far. Great minimalistic design, good performance, awesome screen but mediocre battery life...

I got the old phone from my dad as he upgraded his contract to a Galaxy S4.
I'm now using a Samsung Galaxy Ace with CyanogenMod 7

It's a decent phone, nothing spectacular though, currently saving up to get the Nexus 5.

iPhone 5C :D

In my opinion, Apple has the best software out there. It's easy to use, and simple.

I'm not an Apple fanboy, either. I've had 2 Androids in the past. Let's just say I'll never buy one again after buying an iPhone. The software just isn't comparable. The way I think of it is choosing between a Mercedes and Toyota. The Mercedes is more expensive, but it's better isn't it?

True that. I've got a 5S, and lets just say I would NEVER go back to my old XPERIA, these two phones are worlds apart in terms of usability and quality.

That said, I was looking at the Asus Padfone 2 earlier..

Are you comparing an old Xperia model to a new Iphone 5S? :odd:

I mean, the Iphone 5S is probably a great phone, but there are Android equivalent phones that will match IP5S in usability, quality, hardware and software and more. Some of the newer top Android models are even better than the IP5S, on many and all parts.

But each to their own. I will never have a Apple product again.

;)

I'm not an Apple fan either. I went with an Android because it beat the IP5 in every category that was important to me. I didn't even get a top level Android either.

Question about phones guys, I phone's battery has been depleating(spelling?) way too fast lately (even without use) and the phone has been shutting off all by itself lately.

Is it a battery issue or software?

How long have you had the phone for?

Usually, if you've had your phone for a long time, the battery life will shorten until the point where it has to be plugged in all the time for it to work.

My old Galaxy S won't work anymore unless it is plugged in, even if I charge it then turn it off, the battery will still die.

If my memory doesn't fail me then 2-3 years I think probably 3.

If it was a slow gradual change in battery life then yeah, most likely would be the battery itself. However if it changed overnight as in one day battery life is fine and a day or two later it suddenly sucks then the most likely explanation is an app was "upgraded" and caused it.
