As for GT500 I have the TOM's Castrol Supra '00 (a must-have JGTC classic) and the Takata Dome NSX (because everybody needs a JGTC NSX in its garage). The GT300 I own them all.

Maybe one person could run the 300 and the other teammate would race in the 500?

Whatever you and your teammate come up with is fine by me.

Also, how long do you want the races, I was thinking around 20 minutes in length.

this is ad hoc races? or time trials?

Sort of a timetrial/race. Basically you set up a single player race with the track/# of laps and whoever completes the laps the fastest wins. This is how the GT4 leagues have been ran for awhile so it works.

so the winner is how many laps they can do in a certain amount of time?

I think he'd set the number of laps based on how long they'll take. So if we went with, say, 15 minutes... then a race at Deep Forest would be somewhere in the range of 12 laps or so (roughly 15 minutes to finish).

And I think the winner would be the best time in the predetermined number of laps for that race.

i see. i like that better than trying to do a time trial lol that got kinda frustrating

so proof is what...an uploa dof the replay?

So we'd be using our times that we got via the single player race with the other three competitors that the game selects for us? If so, how do we ensure that everybody uses the same AI level?

Also, would we use the time trial mode for qualifying?

A screenshot of the time will do will do, but if there is a questionable time a replay will be asked for.

It says what rank the race was in on top of the screen.

Single Race> Rank> Length

And yes qualifying will be in time trial.

yeah if you need help with stat tracking or anything id totally be willing to do as much as i can.

whats the schedule with this thing? a race a week?

I think a race a week would be best as we also have qualifying to do as well. Maybe 3 days for qualifying and 4 days for the race? Two days for qualifying and five days for the race? Or the opposite direction and have 4 days for qualifying and only 3 days for the race? Or something different altogether?

Maybe 3 days for qualifying and 4 days for the race? ?

This is what I was thinking as to how the week should be divided.

Also, I was thinking 8 races for the season plus 2 for the pre-season.

all this definitly sounds so good to me 👍, I've also started collecting all GT500 and GT300 :dopey: ( ... quite an expensive task for my current wallet :ouch: )

I'd be really glad to join, especially considering that JGTC ( poll leader ), 1 week per qualifying and race, 15 mn races and screenshot proofs are all options I'm comfortable with :).

if JGTC is confirmed : I tried to guess some rules, and hoping I'm not too early with these considerations, here are a few suggestions :
- driving physics would be professional
- all drive aids would be forbidden ( as in real JGTC )
- GT500 tyres would be R3
- GT300 tyres could be R1

I would suggest R1 on GT300 because I tried R3 on a Wedsports Celica or Asparadrink Rx7 for a few laps on Autumn Ring, and imho they gave a slightly unnatural grip feeling :odd: ...
but then again, I was training on Group C cars until two days ago :scared: so my judgement about cornering grip may be misleaded :dunce:

I really prefer an F1 league. It's the only thing I won't lose in:lol:

*I think pretty much everyone would agree with the 'professional' setting.

*There would be no way to make sure that someone is not using the driving aids, so I say we make it legal. In many, if not most, cases... those aids actually slow they car down. I think people currently participating in the Time Attack challenge would agree with that statement.

*I'm fine with those tire setups, but I'd also be fine if we allowed any and all tires to be used.

I'd rather have no driver aids because in real racing TCS and all that good stuff is banned if i remember right. As for tyres i could really care less.

I am planning to allow any tire compound since there are limited tuning options.

"Any tire compound since there are limited tuning options"...I agree with that..It all depends on the Drivers style of driving.I mean I could drive the Audi R8(Team PLay Station)Around the Ring Faster with R1 tyres faster then I could with R3....

Dang looks like the people have spoken and JGTC will be the series you'll take on. I guess ill snag the F1 series then :)

Races are held as part of a yearly series. Races take place on well known Japanese race tracks like Twin Ring Motegi, Fuji Speedway, Suzuka Circuit,Tokyo r246,TC tuskuba ,Deep forest expanded to its first international venue NURBERING nordschleife, and an exhibition race at the MAZADA LAGUNA SECA f the race, held at g International Circuit made an official race c

Formula One, obviously.
I would suggest using all available F1 tracks, or tracks which have been used for F1, including Cote de Azure, Suzuka, Fuji, and the real number of laps, eg Monaco, 78 laps.
I suppose the best way to do it would be time trial, then the winner is the person to complete the required laps in the fastest time.

As for rally, it could either be the fastest single lap, or the highest drift score on the off-road tracks, and some road tracks, like Citta Di Aria and Costa De Amalfi.
