What the FASTEST laptime any nascar racer get at daytona???

ive gotten a 38.132, i was the third car in the draft, and just followed to see if i could get faster, but that was my lowest, i save the replay everytime i run a 38.xxx. Ive got messages from other racers in other rooms sayin they ran 37.991, has anybody else done this ? or is it a fluke? , or are they just full of it... let me kno fellas.

Yeah that sounds about right.If you change your final gear and the guys ahead of you do the same I could see faster laps but not much.

My fastest has been 37.896 with all three cars running a final gear of 260, but we were pushing the three car bump all through the turns and everybody was holding a extremely tight line. Have never gotten that close to it again. Best after that has been 38.143

I've ran a 38.7....3 car bump draft, even in corners! The rest of the field crashed and was out of the race by lap 3 of a 15 lap race, so the three leaders (me included) used the rest of the race to set lap times....fun stuff!

I've seen a lap time that is one second faster than the fastest lap time posted here. (Yes, it's still one second faster than all the lap times posted after this post too).
